Hello, everyone. SWIM's journey has been a long one to this point, but she has recently been surrounded with love, and for that she is thankful. Her psychedelic journey began with Lucy a year and a half ago. The first trip was very negative, in a poor environment with a very unstable mindset. Despite being scared senseless (and sober, for that matter), she found herself eventually drawn back to the idea of trying it again. Her next experience was very much entheogenic. SWIM saw through the illusion of time and death, and felt more connected to God than she could have ever dreamt. She has since explored mushrooms twice, finding them to be very natural and peaceful, LSA thrice, once as a blotter and twice in tea from Morning Glories. The tea seemed more an antidepressant than psychoactive, and the blotter inspired an entire night's worth of drawing. And of course, I have been blessed smoking spice on four different occasions. DMT, more than anything else, has shown me how amazing it is to exist. My life has purpose, and that purpose is manifest through spice.

Today she finds herself a Pandeist hoping to join in building a community; an endeavor that she knows will help herself as much as others. I have a very strong belief that entheogens have a profound relationship with humanity, and will lead us to creating a more perfect world.

I have a deep interest in ayahuasca as an aid to personal and spiritual development. I believe that its controlled use during a session of psychotherapy or art therapy could be significantly healing for a small variety of ailments. I would be interested in studying its effects on how we learn language and how we communicate non-verbally.

I would love to learn as much as I can from this community. SWIM wants to learn more about the preparation of ayahuasca, and traditions related to entheogen use around the known world. I'd also just love to become more active in the community. Thank you for reading! Smile

Welcome CrazySage! Smile

Its important to value those things which make us appreciate the life we've been given, and this pet interest of ours certainly fits the bill.

Have a good read around the site; I'm sure you will learn much about those aspects of the subject you find interesting. And SWIMming is not necessary at all!

Once more, welcome!
I am paranoid of my brain. It thinks all the time, even when I'm asleep. My thoughts assail me. Murderous lechers they are. Thought is the assassin of thought. Like a man stabbing himself with one hand while the other hand tries to stop the blade. Like an explosion that destroys the detonator. I am paranoid of my brain. It makes me unsettled and ill at ease. Makes me chase my tail, freezes my eyes and shuts me down. Watches me. Eats my head. It destroys me.

I don't have to SWIM? Seeing that you are a moderator, I'm inclined to trust you. What a relief, I'm glad I don't need to paddle my way through.

Thank you for your welcome, it is good to find such a respectful refuge on these lovely interwebs. Big grin

Welcome CrazySage Smile

Sure, no swimming necessary, but be careful with your talk. The NSA likes to spy. I'm not sure, if hippies are under observation, but better surf safe than sorry. Here's a FAQ from the EFF: https://www.eff.org/nsa-spying/faq
