would it be ok to heat the naptha in a electric grill in a pyrex jar instead of a heat bath ???

If the grill has heat elements that will turn red when heating then it's a no go for sure! The thing is that ANY ignition system should be avoided, be that a gas stove, a cigarette or an electric grill with heat elements.

Why would you want to use a grill rather than a hot water bath? Guess I'm just curious (or nosey!) Hot water bath is very straightforwardThumbs up
