So I was just wondering if somebody could tell me what's going on with this extraction. I am new here and very new to dmt as a whole but I have had one small successful before this and now I'm kind of wondering what's going with this here a/b ACRB extraction when I added the base It didn't turn the solution black it actually made just a lot of white floating specs. If somebody could help me that would be amazing. Thanks!

Hi Deadhead22,

We'll need more information to be able to help. Can you tell us with more detail what did you do so far? How did you cook the bark, which base did you use, etc.

Well the base I used was sodium hydroxide. the first tek I used didn't require the Cook and don't really have the right kind of ventilation at this very point in time so I just used 1 part white vinegar to 3 parts distilled water and let sit for 24 hours that's when I added the base contrary to what I thought would happen all the base did was creat many small white specs in the solution.

At first I added 10 ml and and then 10 again then 5 more and 5 more after that. Every time I added it the same thing would happen. I put them in separately because I was told it more safe that way and that you could also no over base the solution.

Should I just proceed like normal? I mean if I put that amount of base in it wouldn't that be enough to do the job ?
