DMT At A Party: A Disturbing Story Options

I heard a disturbing story from a friend of mine who goes to college not far from my school. (We're both in the Northeast, that's all I'll say). We were chatting on Facebook, and I mentioned doing research into DMT, and he told me me the following anecdote from a college party he was at:

Apparently he was at the party, and there were about five/six people gathered around a guy who was spooning freebase DMT and cannabis into a bong. The dealer was promising 'the craziest trip ever.' I'm not sure of the experience levels of anyone involved, but my friend says that they were mostly 'party-drug-users.' (Go to raves, do Molly, etc.) There were a bunch more people (including my friend) where were not smoking but where gathered around, watched to see what would happen.

The smokers took their hits, (I'm not sure how much each person got, in terms of mass), and almost too a man, freaked out. Again, this is a second hand story, so details can be sketchy, but apparently the trippers were yelling, trying to move around, loosing motor control and generally having wretched experiences. When they were done, some people were sobbing, one guy started yelling at the dealer, and the party generally dissolved pretty quickly afterward.

I was shocked by this, and horrified, especially since now these people are going to go out and talk about how 'fucked up' (excuse my French) everyone got on DMT and what a terrible thing it is.

Has anyone else (this is mostly out to the younger, college-aged Nexians) heard about, or experienced this?
I'm going to try and follow up on this, if possible.

Why are you so shocked and horrified by this? Some people use drugs spiritually, some don't. Just because this appeared to your friend to be a party-scene there might have been at least one person who had a nice DMT experience and will do some research on it and find the DMT-Nexus.

Be careful to reserve judgement -- especially from second-hand stories.

Also, 'fucked up' isn't French.

Well, there is an easy explination for that type of reaction..

DMT is NOT by any means a party drug.. It is a spirtual tool, and using it in the wrong surcomstances can bring very bad experiences. Atleast in my experience with DMT.

Before I use, I like to have a short mediation session. I do this for two reasons, to clear my head and to put myself into a positive way of thinking. With DMT, everything around you is a factor for how your trip is going to be.

With that being said, if you do choose to experiment with DMT, do it in a safe environment, (No parties or cars, preferably indoors) with people you trust and have known.
Don't fight the trip, just let go. And experience a trip of a lifetime.

Fact: Some people like to play video games, so people like to sky dive and do crazy stuff, and some people like to enter the many different doorways of our own minds! For I am one to explore where many refuse to go!

Well it is horrifying and disturbing thinking empathising with how scary it would have been for the users. That would have been horrible and I have seen a similar thing happen to someone... not a pleasant thing to watch and definitely not a pleasant thing to experience. Alpha, "excuse my french" is a common phrase used when somebody swears. I hear people say it all the time.

I find gang rapes horrifying.

This is just run of the mill , poorly thought out, party behavior.

Of course people say it all the time. I believe the point a1pha was trying to make is that there shouldn't be cursing on the forums.

And it doesn't make any sense, regardless of how many people say it.

Well hopefully it will teach all those involved not to inhale strange exotic substances before having a thorough read about it first.

I absolutely refuse to give out spice anymore. You just do not know what is going to happen and it just about the freakiest, scary, beautiful, most real alien experience anyone is probably ever going to have. I mean I do not even know if I could handle another breakthrough dose. I think my heaviest experience with it was enough, it was the experience I wanted and needed, maybe for the rest of my existence here.

Now I know how far it can go. I now realize, oh wow, Earth is pretty chill, with all of its energy synchronized and intact; not like a reality super collider program. I am happy to be on Earth. People need to know before jumping on that matrix space craft that it is no joke. It is just so hard to describe what is going to happen, is the most real, violent and powerful thing that is going to happen but you cannot explain it.

Thank goodness for planet Earth, it is a miracle. I now kiss the ground and I appreciate my existence fully.

really most jokes don't completely make "sense" a couple hundred years removed from social context.

I don't think the purpose of this thread was to discuss idioms. But thanks for the info.

funny that it took this long to identify the likeliness of it actually being salvia.

id bet anything it was salvia, ive been there in the hotseat and a viewer of such spectacles.
boy o boy the freakouts were memorable, in a most inappropriate light
