A few buddies of mine are working on a project for next month's European tour of ISAM by AMON TOBIN. This stuff is pretty cutting-edge and something you'll begin to see much more of throughout the electronic music scene. (Sorry for the poor video resolution - this stuff is very hard to capture in the dark, but use your imagination. It's absolutely incredible live given the true 3d effect.) Video mapping takes a blank canvas [see below] and uses very large projectors (upwards of 80k each) to project moving images and effects. This has been done on the sides of buildings - with a popular effect being the deconstruction and reconstruction of the building. This is one of the first times being used for an electronic music tour.   I would highly recommend anyone in the London, Brussels, Berlin, Montreal area check it out next month! Is this similar to the shpongletron video mapping stage? Is it all the same or similar technology? Awesome! Can't wait to get to see it in the States. The recent Shpongle show with the Shpongletron was amazing and I am a huge fan of Amon Tobin so will be looking forward to this.

I love Amon Tobin and when this came out I loved him even moar!  Still hitting myself for missing the show 15 minutes from my house...... Also on a side note, why is everyone on the nexus so cool and connected to such awesome stuff? 'Little spider weaves a wispy web, stumblin' through the woods it catches to my head.
