Though I don't have that much experience with DMT, I think that it depends on what you mean by benefit. If you can handle seeing more of yourself, about yourself and are ready to make life changes, probably a good choice. If you tend to resist change in your mindstate/what it might bring up, life could get harder for a significant while.
But like I said, I have only had one significant DMT experience, so my advice is more a blanket thing for all psychedelics. My life is going in a better direction, but I wouldn't say that at this current time it is qualitatively better than before. Rethinking everyhing is taxing
