Technology became really interesting to me creatively when whatever application or thing I was working with become complex enough that it begins to demonstrate almost organic like qualities of itself. Like your interfacing with something that has more potential responses it could produce then you could have imagined on your own. Where it becomes not so much like your projecting your imagination to a medium, but rather your working with this other entity that is just as complex as you, with just as much influence over the result, and because of that, you cannot really foresee what it will produce.

A good example of this in technology is in making electronic music. You know I can sit and pluck chords on a guitar, but it gets old to me really quickly, I can fully wrap my mind around the full potential of the guitar. However if I load up a synthesizer app, theres just so much intricacy, and you can twist this knob, twist that knob, hit this button, and all of sudden you have something you previously couldn't of imagined.

yeh i hear you, because of music production technology and its possibilities, ive somehow became addicted to it like a drug where if i dont produce for a couple days become restless, i constantly also find inspiration in new synthesizer sounds that spark creativitity .n it really does seem like im sometimes communicating with some kind of organic lifeform at times, that many times seems like its trying to create itself, where what i talked about before comes into play, learning not to control it which would be the ego where most crap derives, but let it create itself and psychadeics help this greatly for me personally. Regarding your previous question if we need internet/technology or the psychedelics, i dont think its a one sided thing, i think we need both. They both play an important role in our advancement and evolution. n hell yeh id check out space but dont think id stay there, here feels like home

well said dio thanks for the perspective... when it comes to electronic music I have to agree as it is quite a passion of mine... and I guess many people have differen't passions so theres a wide range of ways it can be employed. I do still find I need the aid of nature and time away from the screen though to get a lot of my ideas when I use programs for music. Technology could never replace psychedelics for me either, its a completely differen't tool. Consciousness kind of projects onto technology into a very organised and precise manner in ways it could not do so normally, while psychedelics almost recalibrate consciousness itself and take one much deeper internally. They can be good allies though

As I walk the playa at night during burningman I cannot tell what is burningman and what are the effects of psychedelics. I have walked the playa at night sober. It damn sure looks and feels like Im tripping.
