I just tied that with my VG classic, but I think it will work with any DIY device as well. I used to have 5 screens in my VG an still could notice while cleaning the pipe that some of the spice leaked the mesh and dropped down to the pipe hole. I read people use copper dish scrubbers, could not find them in local stores. So I ended up making these copper chips from a regular electrical wire. Just placed DMT in between the two layers of these. It works great. Copper is a good heat absorber. And the multitude of small chips increases the area from which the stuff evaporates via convection. It's much easier now to control the vaporization process and achieve the right dose.

I believe that with enough chips one can even use a regular meth pipe - it will work exactly on the same convection principle as VG.
