DMT does not need this.

This is disappointing: the episode 'Hallucinogens' was actually pretty respectful to Ayahuasca, I thought maybe DMT might get away unscathed.

I'm honestly not too worried, I feel like the kind of person who watches 'Drugs, Inc.' probably either 1) is already convinced that every drug known to man is evil or 2) probably won't be fazed.

I'm still thinking that maybe the best way to open up DMT to the masses would be to take the issue to court.
A real public discussion of The Spice might be best way to inform the public. We'd get positive DMT users as well as the government DEA Propaganda.

Ugh what a terrible program. Clueless kids playing with DMT should not be on TV representing such things. Extractors should not be publicising extraction on TV, even less so with such terrible and dangerous teks. Even worse, this program lumps it in with heroin and crack. Barf. That program couldn't be more ridiculous if it tried. I wonder how many houses will burn down as a result of showing this to people.

I also thought the hallucinogens episode was not too bad, was also the first time I had heard about ibogaine at that time. Ofcourse the media would wrongly represent DMT and the majority of people associated with it, Shameful.

Better start investing in some home grown Phalaris.
I predict that getting MHRB is only going to be harder from here on out.

Ridiculous.

The way they show those side cuts with people sitting beside dumpsters and alleys making this seem like some hard drug that ruins your life. Horrible description, bad technique, him and his buddies are not fit to smoke dmt, and are not fit to be representing the molecule, especially on television.

Psychosis?! this is ridiculous. the way they put it so easily beside crack and heroin will surely give a bad view on DMT to plenty of ignorant americans watching television expecting full truth.

no but seriously i am so stoked it grows wild EVERYWHERE up here.
just waiting for harvest time at this point.
i think it would actually be pretty amusing to watch a government attempt to criminalize phalaris.

I don't get why they need to villify hallucinogen use. Just snort 300mg of yopo and hallucinogen use pretty much villifies itself.

Maybe they're worried that everyone is going to get addicted to having colorful squiggles moving electrically over their eyes at dizzying speeds, while their head pulsates and pounds to the brink of explosion, and they puke their guts out for a half hour while the grim reaper sodomizes them and they hug the toilet bowl for their dear life wondering what people will think when they find them dead and bloody all over the bathroom floor.

They are worried that people will realize that most of what they have been told are lies, and that the various authorities have no more inherent sense of right or wrong, reality or illusion than anyone else, and quite a bit less so than many. And from their point of view, they are probably right to worry. Cool

This is bad, very bad.

It could fall into the hands of the wrong people.

Even though I enjoyed watching Drugs Inc. before, that is not good. Thumbs down

Did anyone else see this episode that was talking about the drug scene in detroit?

it was on either history channel or Nat Geo....

Halfway through the episode it talks about this "new emerging drug" blah blah... and shows this homeless hipster guy who is labeled as a "DMT USER", and goes on to talk about people using this drug to escape reality.

Then they go on to show pretty much the entire process of ordering the MHRB online, doing the A/B extraction, harvesting the DMT crystals, selling them on the street, and then showing the homeless "DMT USER" guy smoking it on a bowl of bud.

I was horrified. The only thing that I was happy about is that they indicated that DMT was a non addictive drug.

Any thoughts on this?

This was in another thread: https://www.dmt-nexus.me...aspx?g=posts&t=39837

It is a shame, but what are you going to do? Just another way media manipulates perspective.
We know the truth about the perspective though. Pleased

I have enjoyed a few of the episodes, and I thought the one about hallucinogens was largely positive. It's a shame to see them portray DMT as if it were crystal meth being cooked with all sorts of dangerous chemicals. And like many have said before, the footage of the sort of crack alley couldn't be more out of place. This is pretty sad.

Stuff like this happens. But so does cannabis legalization in two states.

If things go alright maybe one day we will have an episode of Drugs Inc. on Prozac. Big grin

Almost seems like there is an agenda ... make those that will never know d for what it is fear it like the new crack that will corrupt and pervert their children's minds. I doubt all this negative attention and the recent mhrb crackdown is a mere coincidence.

The war om d is on.... good luck Confused

I am very angry and disappointed at that NatGeo crap... I shouldn't expect anything different I know but for f**k sake why don't they get other sides of the story too and talk to researchers along with other well known intellects from MAPS, Dennis Mckenna, Rick Strassman, Alex Grey...etc. gahh! ><
