Hello scooble,
Welcome to the Nexus. For sure, one doesn't need to know chemistry to be able to extract effectively. If you can cook (i.e. follow a recipe) you can extract DMT.
As was noted, check the wiki - especially the area there on extraction teks. Most of those are written in easy to follow/understand language.
If you ever get into confusion or trouble with an extraction, you can post your questions or come to chat for quick answers.
Please take the time to really look around - lots to see and learn here. I think the more time you spend the less confusing it may all seem.
Regardless, this is a time of transition, as our primary DMT plant is no longer obtainable. So folks are researching and analyzing new DMT containing plants, creating new teks, and garnering new long-term project attitudes while growing their own entheogens at home from seeds.
So, that introduction really just kind of expressed your frustration - I think a good look at the wiki will really help. Now that we are hopefully past that, can you do a more formal introduction for us please? Tell us about yourself, your interests, your experience level, etc. Anything that might allow us to get to know you a bit.
Again, welcome to the Nexus.
