Hello nexus! i searched but couldn't find anything on this for some strange reason?

I will be having a gram of DMT soon, (Will be the first DMT i ever smoke) and I will most likely be making some changa, but aswell keeping some freebase.

So my question is, i have heard that oxygen kills DMT and some of it can just i guess the inproper phrase, go away? Could possibly be oxidation? I'm horrible with chemistry.

So how would i properly store freebase DMT without it degrading, as well as changa?

Hi, The answer to your question lies in the FAQ section 6.3 (there are also two links to threads discussing storage), I also just posted those links under another thread titled "Two questions about my spice" that thread is on the second page of this open discussion forum.

Good luck.

In my experience freebase DMT will not oxidize. However I believe It is possible for DMT-HCl to oxidize.

For storage I just use tiny jars, the tiniest you can get so you can minimize the amount that gets stuck on the sides.

You could convert it to fumarate rather than freebase, which supposedly is more stable.

But I'd say put it in a jar or something, and place it in the fridge. That's basically what I've been told, but have no personal experience myself.

I have noticed my white crystals turning brown eventually, but have not noticed any reduction in effect, though there very well may be some. The freezer is the best, or at least air tight containers such as tiny mason jars, etc.
Meditate before you venture, take it seriously, use it as medicinal—it is good psychotherapy if needed. Realize that you, the Earth, others, and the Universe are all one and the same process. Then take that knowledge back to become, as you already are, one with nature. Eternity in every moment. Divinity in every particle. All is one organism.
