Sharing some of my thoughts

First Human

I love the guitars in this one. It feels very tribal but with an element of mystique to it. Like I'm in a tribal area in a psychedelic Zelda game. And I love Zelda. It also has this feel/smell of incense to it, like some kind of ritual going on.

The Strophariad Premiae

There's a huge build up in this song, and in the end something amazing happens. I just quite haven't figured out what. There are some very interesting instruments in here that sound totally different from most of what I've ever heard.

The Encounter

It's very... freaky. Is that thunder in the background? It has a very rough tune to it. Like we're cutting a diamond, but we're not quite there yet. Great use of stereo, which makes this song really dimensional.

You Call?

It starts out with this incredibly penetrating and omnipresent sound of what feels like two metal plates vibrating against each other. Deep bass and some drums that again sound very tribal. The rough guitar puts me on edge a little bit, almost like I'm in an action movie but different. The last 20 seconds feature some really calming and healing tones, especially the flutes. I'd love to hear more like that.

Honer

This sounds very different in a few aspects, when compared to the previous songs. It's like we've evolved to the next level. Very dreamy too. Again great use of stereo which I really like.

The Unfolding Self

Every part of the songs says "contemplative". A lot of thinking and integration which was conveyed very well.

Back to the Ground.

This is a very relaxing track. It keeps the tribal vibe but combines it with a futuristic sound.


Album

I really like it. This post isn't really in depth yet because I only listened once, but I will definitely listen again somewhere soon and expand on this post. There's a story behind it too when listening to the entire album in one go, which I definitely recommend. Especially to fans of this genre.

Hey just checking in.

To be honest i thought this would get alot more attention here (and have gotten alot more attention other places), i hope some one gives this a fair shot and really takes an entheogenic journey to it, that is what it is made for.

As a matter of fact i am ASKING for some nexian out there to take a trip to my music and then write their review of it. There is stuff in there that blows the mind, and for my own personal fullfillment it would mean alot to me if someone out there reaally HEARD THE MUSIC. with fully open ears.

Will someone do it!? Ive already done it plenty of times...

Im not trying to get rich on this (believe me i havent), just trying to share my vision of the personal shamanic journey, and to touch the souls of fellow travellers who SEE THINGS OTHERS MISS. i did not use a single loop or sample, we played and recorded all the music using real intsruments and midi synth parts.

So please dont treat this idly like its no big deal, it offends me, i would rather have someone come in and say, THey did not like this or that, or offer suggestions, or an honest review, than someone just idlly gazing over it. THis is my life and my destiny,

I am your peer, i poured everything into this, and am trying to make history, i would appreciate some feedback and respones, there are pointless threads about nothing that have more views and comments than the dropping of my album which i had hoped one of you out there would truly hear.

I could be crazy, but it feels to me as if i am getting some degree of snubbing or something... whats the problem? not your guys style, or am i somehow pissing people off?

Sorry for that, but i felt it necessary to express my feelings, im not trying to shove this down your throat, but im very dissapointed in the response here, where in other places the response was extremely encouraging

Though this isnt the type of music I usually listen to I found myself nodding and jamming to your tunes. Quite intense guitars going on in the The Strophariad Premiea, loving it. I'd also love to hear if there's any stories behind these tracks? You guys seem really talented so I'm quite sure theres a little something behind every song. I wish I had more time to take a deeper look to your music but for a quick glance I find it quite enjoyable, though in my opinion more vocals wouldnt hurt (the chanting in First Human was eerily hypnotizing)

Also, try not to stress on the feedback, what I've noticed is that nexus has been a wee bit quiet lately, and you know, patience is a virtue

Also, You Call? -track had some tasty guitars going on too and all in all the whole track brought a happy feeling and a wide grin on my face.

Hey, thanks for the replies, please forgive me, clearly I am insane. I immediately regretted the post after making it, thanks for not jumping down my throat! I do just need to chill a tad I aplologize I don't know what I was expecting, the replies were positive and even a song by song review. I am just caught up in the intensity of trying to get it heard forgive me it was a slighly hot headed post

I really appreciate the positive constructive comments cosmic fool, and will take them to ,heart, also it is tru the nexus is quiet.

My friend and soul brother michael plays all the guitar in you call? And I play the guitar on the strophariad. Two different styles. He plays lead guitar on most of the songs such as honer, and the unfolding self guitar also he goes on journeys with me and gives his input, I compose the songs and do the synth and drum playing/programming and guitar.

There are stories behind the tracks, and every track was invented and recorded under the influence of san pedro and bridgesii, I am on my fone now, but I will post more info about each track. Also each person draws different things from it that are also valid interperitations,
