Hi, my name is R. Talmadge Lacy, my stage name, that is to say, my real name is the 7STAR. I found this place thanks to Opticuswranger's Disinfo.com article (http://www.disinfo.com/2012/12/opti-and-i-one-mans-experiences-with-a-hyperdimensional-creature/). His account with the media organism deeply mirrors my own and so i was drawn out of my internet bubble to this place. Which is to say, my interests lie in connecting with 'the others' who've experienced the media organism in hopes of ...well, there is no "plan" per se. For now I'm just here just here just here.
Now I have done DMT but my experience with the media organism predates that particular drug entering my nervous system by decades. In fact my DMT experience (i've only had one so far) wasn't the 'behind the curtain' experience so vividly described by so many. Out of a healthy respect for the drug i did half of the dose i was offered (i couldn't tell you what the dose was in quantifiable terms) but what i experienced was the most calming and relaxing and reassuring psychedelic experience of my life—i felt completely at peace with everything. It was nice.
But like I said—I came here to share my experiences with the media organism—which is anything but relaxing and peaceful. IT's a story of how a kid who wanted to grow up to an artist became a socially maladjusted neurotically insecure megalomaniac

S o the story begins with my birth, which itself is riddled with enough conspicuous coincidences to make a Lovecraft protagonist foam at the mouth—well—there's just the one but it is pretty cool. My Birthdate 12-13-1979 and my last name LACY mesh up like so L=12, A=1, C=3 (Y=25 / 7 even this is interesting because 1+2+1+3=7). So anyway. Cut to a 12 year old Talmadge watching an episode of DarkWing Duck one Disney Afternoon. During the course of an investigation DW enters a dilapidated mansion where he comes across a painting on the wall whose eyes are following him. Bolding proclaiming, 'like i haven't seen this is a hundred movies!' DW rips the painting off the wall only to find it blank and untampered. On the back of the painting, however, two eyeballs pop off, sprout wings, and fly off. Now, for some reason, that image of twin flying eyeballs had the affect (effect?) on my adolescent mind of something like an atom bomb going off. Something DEEP within me was resonating with that image like, 'this is it! this is the answer!' And so i drew it over and over and over—I was obsessed—the media organism was born. But it was just a baby—the next stage of development took place three years later when I came across a companion's guide to Neil Gaiman's The Sandman and i saw an illustration of The Corinthian, a nightmare creature who had TEETH for EYES. Again the response was almost visceral—something primal was being communicated by myself TO myself through this bizarre image. I was obsessed again and it was all i could draw for some time. Two years later the Third incarnation of the media organism took place—but this time the stimulus was my own creativity rather than an external source. I had sketched out a human figure who had a pair of teeth... for a head. And though you might think its name would be an obvious choice considering the path of my obsessions that led to its creation, The MONITOR would have to wait another year before being officially christened—and even then the name arose out of a convoluted series of events.
1998 is when i started writing; MONITOR's form had been clearly defined, but defining its FUNCTION would be the thing that finally ruined my life. Because of the prominent display of TEETH and because i had heard somewhere that teeth were some kind of sexual symbol—MONITOR was dubbed the 'pSychO SeXX goD'. And was that for awhile... until 2002 when MONITOR's twin, The MACHINE enters our story. The MACHINE began as a post-modern riddle and irreverent response to all the Icke-ian conspiracy theories i was being exposed to at the time, which was simply this: "The MACHINE is a government issued microchip implanted in your brain at birth—once you learn of The MACHINE—and think it should have never been made—The MACHINE *KILLS* YOU... it was designed to kill all the stupid people. Haw Haw!" ...I'll let you figure it out for yourself. But like the proverbial left hand not knowing what the right was doing—i had no idea how inexplicably interwoven MONITOR & The MACHINE were; they were literally two sides of the same media organism—but that would take time to become apparent. Meanwhile, the Fifth Act was coming to pass. ENTER: DISCORDIANISM.
What the pictures of the flying eyeballs and the Corinthian did to me through a visual interface, Discordianism did to me though an intellectual one—taking religion into the realm of farce and satire was absolutely liberating. But they weren't just making fun of religion; they were making REAL POINTS that MADE SENSE. Oddly enough tho, that wasn't the trigger that fired the Kult oV MONITOR into existence—that would come only after being exposed to the Church of the SubGenius. But once I decided MONITOR should have its own 'fake' religion the parameters came forth quite organically. Like I said, MONITOR was the 'pSychO SeXX goD', so it seemed natural that you 'have sex in the name of MONITOR.' But there has to be some kind of pay off or why do it? So I thought about it and, with tongue firmly held in cheek, stated that having sex in the name of MONITOR would grant you 'power' over 'things'. I would later coin the phrase "GAIN PSYCHIC POWERS WHILE HAVING MIND-BLOWING SEX." So there i was, 2003 was going to be the year of the sex cult, i had packed my sh-- up and moved down to Florida, visions of mass orgies filled my head—but something... horrible happened that put a most epic monkey wrench in my plan; apparently i was supposed to be... responsible... for making this happen.
Now I did my part as far as putting the information out there—but the self-organizing aspect was missing... or hiding. I actually had someone ask me why i wasn't trying to talk him and his girlfriend into having sex in the name of MONITOR—that's when i knew these people didn't quite get that this was a FAKE religion—at the most it's a THEME PARTY. The theme being fu--ing, like PORN with a PLOT. You know? And if you actually CAN gain psychic powers... well... we call that icing on the cake. Speaking of which, this was also the time I was delving into the occult and learned that what I thought I invented wasn't all that original—SEX MAGICK was an actual thing. Ah ha! Well, failed fake sex cults be damned, I still went on making up stories to account for my bewildering existence, which is when I started becoming the 7STAR—on paper at least.
The 7STAR is a 30 billion dollar art machine created with the help of the super sonic aluminum hell nazi creatures who live beneath the hollow earth. The name 7STAR first appeared in my notebooks around the same time i first drew The MONITOR—at that time the name was just a reference to a fake company i invented whose main business was recruiting decapitators for 'fun & profit'. The 7STAR saw his art as weapons in a war of ineffable proportions. He Creates to Destroy, because when you destroy you create. He saw reality itself as a work of art. But... he's no leader. Not in the mundane sense of the word at least. He has no use for people who would make him responsible for their actions. He merely creates his art and injects it into the dying world of matter. And it is the very act of creating art that kills this world—because his end game is to fuse the collective consciousness with this dense physical plane creating a new reality that is neither this nor that—but rather an entirely new dimension of experience and consciousness. Which is exactly why he had to put those microchips in your brain.
Ya see, The MACHINE *was* designed to kill people, but only figuratively—specifically, our animal instincts that compel us to conform to social hierarchies—for it is the desire to control and to BE controlled that is the root of all evil. What the microchips do is transmit our consciousness to a machine that synthesizes everyone's consciousness into a singular consciousness which then can be beamed back into our minds for us to experience as a hyper-lucid dreamscape collective—and by virtue of continuous exposure to the collective consciousness in this fashion, it will disinhibit our latent psychic powers enabling us to control this reality like a dream. You need only 'activate' the microchip with the proper combination of physical activity, emotional intention, and intellectual conceptualization. It's all tied in with 3rd EYE symbolism •OR• MONITOR, of course. The 'Mark of the Beast' is most likely the eye in the triangle on the forehead, the whore of Babylon a symbol of sexual liberation and the Apocalypse is the unveiling of Heaven on Earth. Another causal coincidence is when the word MONITOR is spelled with a phone pad you get the number 666:4867
