After countless months of exploring this site and its wonderfully intriguing forums, having to, of course, hold back my interest and positive insight, I came across a topic that I couldn't resist wanting to discuss. The forum on Lucid Reality, something I ponder more often then not, but having no one to discuss these ideas, and many more, with anyone I know personally, without being labeled: crazy or weird, two titles in which I accept happilyBig grin Some personal info: I'm mid-twenties, I meditate regularlly, I've had visions, both drug induced and sober, and I'm currently working on refining my lucid dreaming. I'm a Cannabis connoisseur of 10 years or so with a few years of rather novice psychedelics dabbling, including psilocybin, LSD, and my favorite thus far, DMTLove Basiclly, I'm a long time fan of this site and wish to have access to the topics and posting of ideas I often think about myself. Thanks for the time, F.P.Laughing

Hello Factual Paradox,

Welcome to the Nexus. It's great to have another lurker sign up - seems like that's been happening a lot lately. Very happy

As a New Member you are limited to posting in the Welcome and Research areas. But you can access the full content of all the forums simply by logging on. Also, you can achieve promotion to Forum Member by posting and showing you understand the rules here - which is not that difficult. Promotion happens when members vote for you.

Feel free to post on any topic you like in the Open Area. And if you want to reply to a thread in an area where you cannot yet post just start a new thread in the Open Area referencing the original thread in the title and linking it in your first paragraph. Smile

So, have you had an opportunity to extract your own DMT yet? If so, how did it go? Which tek did you use?

I look forward to seeing you around F.P. Again, welcome to the Nexus.

Thanks for tip, I didn't even consider this idea, so I'll start posting some threads, thanks again! As for personal extraction, I haven't had the pleasure yet, just friends who did their own extraction and have shared their results, friends who originally introduced me to my other early psychedelic experiences. But I've recently moved to a new state and haven't met anyone I think may dabble in the psychedelic experience so I plan to start my own extractions in a week or so. What tek/teks do you recommend I, being a total newbie to the actual process, read up on? I've done a good amount of general reading/research but any advice is welcome!

If you are fortunate enough to have MHRB, I would recommend an STB (straight to base) tek such as Noman's or an A/B (acid/base) tek such as BLAB. Each of those is fairly easy to do as well as consistent and satisfying in results. Needless to say this is just in my opinion. I'm no chemistry expert, but I've been pleased with results from those teks. Please check the wiki link in the upper left hand corner of your forum pages to see all the extraction teks for a number of plants.

I'm working on obtaining these at the moment. Thanks for the insight, I'll read up on Noman's tek and various others in the wiki.

Welcome.

It doesn't really matter in what sequence you read them either.
