Hello! i am very glad to be at the DMT nexus, i feel like i will be able to learn and share a lot here. My name is Jonah and i am extremely interested on expanding my consciousness, I seek to learn, and understand this world and universe that inhabits us all. I have not done any psychedelics, (Other than salvia and marijuana) but i do very much want to jump into the world of Dimethyltryptamine. I really want to try ayahuasca before i try freebase DMT, i'm looking for a more spiritual experience rather than to just trip. Of course it would be extremely more spiritual for me to travel to south america in search of a shaman in peru and attend an ayahuasca ceremony, but i don't have the time or money at the moment so i will probably brew the tea myself. As for my salvia experiences, i have tried salvia over 20 times in hopes that this will get me prepared for DMT, but through my readings and hours and hours of research over the past year It seems nothing can prepare oneself for this mystical molecule.

I have alot of speculation about DMT, alot of ideas, that make me beleive that This molecule may have something to do with our existence, and may have something to do with our next lives. whatever the case may be, I know that whatever experience reports i read, i always assure myself this cannot do it justice. I'm looking to learn, and to better myself, to be more understanding of this universe and to be able to gain knowledge and ask more questions. I hope that you all take me in with open arms and help me through this DMT journey i will soon embark!

Much Love.

Hello Jonah,

Welcome to the Nexus. That was a great Introduction Essay - thank you so much for sharing.

You have come to the right place. There is so much to see here and not just about DMT. Sure there's plenty on DMT and that's important - from experience reports to first experiences to extraction teks to smoking techniques, etc. But, there are a myriad of other sub-fora on subjects ranging from other entheogens to plant analysis to humor and fun.

So, please do take a good and thorough look around - I bet you will just love what you see. Information and research fiends love it here, Very happy.

It sure sounded like your tripping experience was fairly minimal. Your plan to brew aya before trying freebase is an interesting one. I would recommend starting with a b. caapi only brew, then slowly working your way up with a DMT plant over a series of brews. That's just a personal opinion of mine, nothing more.

Oh and while I'm at it, I'd also recommend you maybe do a mushroom grow and try a series of doses/trips, slowly working your way up to a heavy dose. I say this because a heavy mushroom trip has a number of features in common with DMT trips. Of course, again, that's just in my opinion.

I suspect once you try DMT, your ideas and speculations about DMT will just expand. It's funny how for every answer DMT has given me, it has opened up some new questions. I actually appreciate this because it helps to keep the mystery alive.

Okay, I've ranted enough. Great to have you join our community. Again, welcome to the Nexus.

Welcome.
Changa or Spice (along with a trusted/experienced sitter), personally, is an ideal way to see if the space resonates with you, as it is usually short-acting. Personally, I haven't had an true Ayahuasca ceremony, as the duration deems much self-preparation before embarking. Also, it is usually a group ceremony which has social implications and finding a Shaman that one can feel comfortable with is another issue.
I feel Salvia extract to be a pretty close parallel to the Spice experience, although the latter has more of a mushroom atmosphere.
How did your Salvia experiences go, may I ask?
In Love + Light
Peace
