I'm currently preparing for my first journey into the world of Ayahuasca.
I'm spending several nights this week brewing the Caapi(trueno) to prepare for friday evening when I will be administering the drink to my close friend and my loving girlfriend. I am very excited and slightly anxious to experience the wonders of Caapi.
I still haven't gotten around to trying pharmahuasca or any type of ayahuasca analog. I do not have any Psychotria Viridis but have been saving 30gs of good quality MHRB to use as the "light".
There is alot of conflicting information out there about Black Caapi, which is what this particular variety was marketed as. vendor states......
"Perhaps the best way to describe this new B. caapi Trueno vine we're proud to offer here at the shop, is this quote from our supplier: "This is the strongest available caapi in the Peruvia forest, that is a fact. Trueno is another name for black caapi. Black is said to be the most potent of all caapis, this is what my bushmen told me." Our supplier went on to say that he had no further details for us, but that "they said the dream is also different."
I do not have enough knowledge of the plant to be able to identify it as "black caapi" but i have developed a certain level of trust with this particular vendor, based on the quality of their other products and their amazing customer service. Not to mention the great information that is provided with the products that i've ordered from them.
Regardless, I decided to go for the gusto and give this strain a shot. I have been speaking my intentions into the brew throughout the week while simmering and quite honestly I have asked alot of it. Since I will be administering it to two people I love and care about, I have said many "prayers" around their safety and access to a meaningful experience. I will be administering the doses very conservatively based on the reports I have read about this particular vine and I plan on taking a small test dose of the vine by itself this evening just to get an idea of what to expect.
I take very much responsibility in knowing what i'm doing, and have spent a long time researching every aspect of ayahuasca that i can research. Absorbing much of my knowledge from the nexus and aya forums, but also scouring thousands of other sources of information. I feel confident in my ability to brew a quality concoction and i'm very experienced with this particular batch of MHRB, which will make dosing the "light" much easier. I was originally going to dose 50gs of caapi brew + 3gs MHRB tea, working up to the desired effects, but i may start with a significantly lower amount of caapi based on reports.
My thought, especially when others are involved, is to start low and work up. Because we all know it doesn't work the other way around!
I'm asking all of my nexian brothers and sisters to lend the three of us their good vibes and best wishes for this first time ayahuasca experience. I am truly excited, and blessed to have such amazing people to share the experience with!
Thank you for the everything!
