I'd just like to introduce myself and say God bless this site! Knowledge is power!

I've not yet encountered the spice firsthand, but have had many experiences with other psychoactive substances. As others here can probably relate, I feel the spice is calling, or rather SCREAMING at me to come and find out what it's like firsthand.

I'm starting by reading every last drop of info I can find. Unfortunately I'm finding this site hard to read for any period of time. The white text on the black background really messes with my vision.

Any tips on alleviating this? I've copied and pasted entries into word before, which does the trick, but is a pain in the rear after awhile.

If you think it's hard to read you can change your preferred theme in your profile. Goto My Profile->Edit profile and change your preferred theme.

btw, the actual colours are light grey on a brown background, maybe the brightness of your screen is too low as it makes you think the background is black.

And another thing.... The site's hard to read on psychedelics...FIX IT!

I love the text. If I read for too long and pull my eyes off the screen quickly it makes me see lines of color. Hahaha.

i tryed yo change mine & it said
"You have entered an illegal value as your ICQ-Number"

& i didnt change anything but the pref. theme..

i refreshed the page, tryed deleting the icq #

lol

I checked the other ones but they're all so damn white, it's even worse.

While we're talking about hard to read forums & the avatar's there within, can I just say how much I fucking hate the animated avatars!!!
I mean how goddamn distracting!!

Some of them do look pretty cool, and others just aren't all that irritating, but then there are some I have to hold my hand up over the screen so I can read the post without the freaking avatar jumping about constantly in the peripheral of just my left eye giving me a headache!!
Most times I just skip over those posts, regardless of what they have to say. I mean, I can only hold my hand up over the screen for so long, ya know.

Anyway, its just the fast-moving ones that jump around & change over & over that drive me crazy!!!

Do any of you remember a while back, there was a guy using an avatar that was a clip of two young boys dancing around like they were in a rap video or something?
Good god, that was sooooo distracting!! I don't think I ever read one one that guys posts all the way through. In fact, I usually skipped over them as fast as I could, just to get it off of my damn screen!!

In contrast, ohayoco, your moving avatar is actually beautiful & quite soothing on the eye...
