i just tried Q21Q21's tek 2 for extracting with acacia confusa but it doesnt seem to have worked. i followed it all step by step and it looked good so far. I put it in the freezer to let sit overnight but no xtals have come out. the naptha is very cloudy so i think it has dmt in it but they wont drop out. this was my time trying to extract and i dont kno what a did wrong if anything. has anyone used this tek on acacia confusa before and been succesful?

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

First thing to try is to evaporate some solvent and put it in the freezer again, and let it sit more than 12 hours.

If the solvent became cloudy, it means its saturated with dmt. As far as i know, depending on how clean your extraction was, acacia's can yield dmt crystals or oil. If the solvent had a strong coloration, than i think your extract will be oily and it will fall at the bottom of the container as oil.

Hope this helps

the cloudiness can be that dmt started to precipitate but the solvent is not saturated enough to release it.Also, are you sure your freezing chamber is cold enough ?Smile

well, revise your quantities of materials used, and use less solvent next time...usually i use 30-50 ml of naphtha, no matter how much of basic solution i have.for example if you have a litre of basic soup, split it in two and pull with less solvent. you will have to make more pulls in this example, but every pull you make will be saturated enough.

Let's not forget that he's using Q21Q21's tek which is a dry tek. 30-50ml would be gobbled up by 100g of bark for example. To the OP though, yes, you do need to use less solvent next time regardless. You should evap for now as Ambivalent said. While I've never used Q21Q21 on an acacia, as aforementioned, if the solvent is cloudy, then that should be DMT, and if it won't precipitate, it isn't concentrated enough in solution.

thank you for pointing out that crucial moment Global. the ammount of solvent i suggested is for liquid liquid extraction yes, standard a/b.
