Funny, having a toddler in the house makes sleep deprivation a constant for me. A lot of it is voluntary: she goes to sleep around nine and I stay up till two cleaning and doing art stuff. But we are all up at seven no matter what. 4-5 hours every night is my new normal.

And this is precisely why I have only tripped a few times this year- my energy level bottoms out pretty hard by evening. The times I have traveled have been days where I felt energetic enough. My concern is that my trip could be influenced by my permanently exhausted body; it's pretty normal for me to have at least a bit of death rumination when I smoke DMT, but it's usually manageable, a brief meditation on the darkness rather than an immersion in it.

Very few of us have experience with insufflation, so it's hard to gauge the effects relative to what they could have been otherwise. But still very interesting... The red hot nose flying through the cosmos is a pretty awesome image. Imagine that done in Peter Max style, trailing flames behind it...

Nice post! I also like to experiment with sleep and dmt finding similar results. For some reason no matter how much I sleep 2 hours or 20 I will sometimes experiment with this when my sleeping pattern has gotten out of whack from work and stuff and I always awake feeling refreshed and fully aware like I have had the perfect amount of sleep. I find myself more happy and out going, full of energy! Could have been the sleep, the dmt or both Rolling eyes
