Hello NeverAgain,
Welcome to the Nexus. Thank you very much for sharing that experience report. Speaking as a person (so is my husband, sadly) who has had a large number of family members die due to DUI's with drugs, alcohol, with themselves, with others being involved, etc, I must admit that was a bit of a harrowing read for me when you said you got into your car. I'm thinking to myself - "Did I understand this correctly? He took a big dose of MAOI after fasting for a day, then a truly massive dose of DMT, suffered a blackout, then a short while later (in the overall scheme of things) decided to drive home?!!???!?" I figured you'd be tripping most of the night - like 5-8 hours on those kinds of dosages.
Regardless, it sounds like some sort of lesson was learned. I'm so glad no one was hurt and/or that you are not dealing with the heavy legal ramifications of a DUI.
I am a bit confused. Had you had much psychedelic and/or DMT experience up to this point? You stated you had smoked . . .
It just seems to me taking such a massive dose then following it with a walk probably isn't the best idea. Given that one can expect possible things such as vomiting, diahrrea, irrestable trance, going out of body, blacking out, etc. I got the sense this was your first oral experience. Was it still back in the Bush era - early in your spice experiments?
I'd like to recommend future such dosings involve staying safely at home, possibly in bed, with a purge bucket handy and intention to spend the entire night home. I am at a loss to understand why folks seem to treat DMT as a recreational drug when such a heavy trance comes with it.
Regardless man, your username says it all. So, please take a good look around, read all of the text of those links in your Welcome PM (you won't regret it). I hope you like what you see. Again, welcome to the Nexus.
