Last night while laying in bed and meditating, I started to realize that my spirituality took the shape of an upside down triangle. I associate with this shape because I imagine the point of the upside down triangle being my genitals. I am full of lust, passion, and primal instinct. I also feel like a very down to earth person, and belief my qualities to be like clay, dirt, fungus, and mold. For some reason, whatever it is, I feel very close to the earth. I am a nature lover. I have been motivated by stories of people leaving society and going into the wild. The shape of an upside down triangle I feel describes me in a lot of ways, in that the point of the triangle meets with my genitals thus symbolizing my lust and passions, while also pointing down towards the earth which represents how I feel very grounded and close to nature. Just curious if anyone else has thought to picture their spirituality as a shape, and if so, what shape is it?

Hey somethinsinthe way,

I have yet to associate a spiritual force with a geometric symbol, but it of course has a loooong historical precedent. Even now, people are deriving clues to ultimate answers for age old questions with ultra modern analysis by supercomputers concerning Mandelbrot's and fibonacci's equations.

I take your proposition seriously, and I'll get back to you if I notice geometric shapes or figures or mathematical equtions in my journeys, dreams and experiences,
Very thought provoking!

Circular for me for sure, due to the way I see everything existing as cycles within cycles, endlessly repeating. Although I can't prove it, I still feel certain this is the fundamental nature of the entire universe, and everything in it. Also it seems to be nature's favorite shape. From the very smallest scales to the largest, you find circles and spheres everywhere.
No direction but to follow what you know,
No direction but a faith in her decision,
No direction but to never fight her flow,
No direction but to trust the final destination.

I believe things happen in cycles as well, but I prefer the golden spiral to the circle or sphere in this case because I don't believe things repeat exactly the same each time, but I think the underlying, latent archetypes are always there, waiting to pop up, with the details changing a bit each time.

I tend to see things happening in cycles so I have a strong circle influence, but lately, I have been almost obsessed with pyramids. Making them, drawing them. Hey something, what astrological sign are you? That may have something to do with it, three of the signs are 'earth' signs.

In the past I have seen my spiritual shape as being a circle. But lately I have come to the realization that life and spirituality is best represented (for me and my individual perception) as a one node wave. This wave can be repeated as many or few times.

When you mentioned the upside down triangle and your connection to earthly things, I immediately thought of this....

Sentient,

A sinusoidal wave, in essence, is still a circle but the waveform offers the opportunity to visualize the "positive/negative, light/dark, good/bad" facets of our existence. Love it! thanks for sharing!

Be well, travel safe.
Much love

everest.smith I really like that picture! I am a libra but I don't know how that would relate to everything. For some reason I wasn't thinking about circles like I see other people relate with but it makes so much sense. It's good to see so many replies Very happy

I agree it's a silly question. I didn't think other people even reply to be totally honest. Matter over spirit, satanist... ? Well I am very much into the spiritual but I am also grounded very much in matter as such I was talking about being very earthy and full of my passions but there is a place for everyone.
