Hey there, so my question is based off of the link posted below. So if SWIM was preforming a fasa extraction from freebase dmt, after one dissolves the dmt in a minimal ammount of acetone and begins dropping in the fasa, it then starts to precipitate out in immense clouds. here is my question, during this time if one were then to dump the fasa solution with the crystals in it into a sodium carbonate saturated solution would it then start to precipitate out dmt freebase instead of dmt fumarate? the link below shows someone doing that and SWIM was curious if anyone knew how well that would work? https://mycotopia.net/fo...eebase-dmt-fumarate.html

-swim prepared some DMT fumarate using the following method.
-approx 2.2g fumaric acid is dissolved in a minimum of acetone, acetone has been dried using anhydrous MgSO4.
-6g perfect glass dmt freebase is dissolved in a minimum of anhydrous acetone.
-a small slosh of fasa is dumped into freebase solution, picture is taken just a split second after.
-all of the fasa is then poured swiftly into the freebase solution, clouds heavily on contact, no stirring or swirling, just dumped in and let it sit, 30 seconds in.
-about 3 minutes later
-after about 30 minutes
-swim has never seen crystals that nice form that quickly, very impressed. he then added another few drops of fasa to look for more clouding, no clouding at all, its done. he will remove that acetone and wash one or more times with fresh dry acetone to remove excess fumaric acid.
