I would take pure DMT orally with Peganum harmala infusion. My question is if its dangerous to ingest DMT orally and I have anything to worry. The DMT I'm talking about is nearly pure but contains some small traces of hexane as I realized when smoked there remains of a viscous yellow liquid rest and I'm sure there are some solvent.

I found this information about the hexane, but do not know if the small amount present is as serious to must matter:

The n-hexane is one of the few toxic alkanes. The physiological effect is not due to the same substance but its metabolism products, in particular 2.5-hexadiona. This compound reacts with some amines essential to the functioning of nerve cells. Therefore it is neurotoxic. It also has a potential addictive and dangerous.
In laboratory studies, animals exposed to high levels of n-hexane in air showed signs of nerve damage. In other studies, animals exposed to n-hexane levels very high were damage in the lungs and the cells that produce sperm.

If it can be a danger I would know any method to clean as much as possible of hexane present. I read somewhere that it was possible to clean DMT to the end extraction with ammonia. Someone told me that could melt the DMT and leave again crystallized from hexane to clean.

What method known to clean DMT of nonpolar solvent?

And let me know about minimum and maximum doses of DMT for my pharmahuasca.

You see this viscous yellow residue upon smoking? I suspect that is either plant oils or the beginning signs that you have burned your spice.

Is your DMT cyrstalline? You mentioned it was nearly pure, so I presume you extracted it yourself and recrystallized in heptane. So, the dried product should be clear to white and should have a light floral scent to it.

If you honestly believe some solvent is trapped in there, I believe you can dissolve it in acetone and dry and the acetone carries the other solvents out with it. But, I'm no chemist - please don't take this as the final word.

Really, just spreading it out and letting it dry or putting a fan set on a very low power level should work too. Just be patient and be careful you don't loose your powder/crystal. You want it to blow you away, not to accidentally blow it away.

Isopropyl alcohol will most likely do the trick as good as acetone does. However, acetone evaporates much quicker than alcohol so most people prefer to use acetone.

Are you sure that the leftovers are solvent and not additives to your solvent? Certain brands of solvents add antirust or other additives. I have no idea if this is common with hexane as I'm no chemist and I have never used it before. Have you checked the MSDS chart of the used solvent to see if it had any additives? Did you do an evaporation test to confirm the MSDS?
