So guys I recently have developed an interest towards DMT. And the only way for me to try it is to actually make it. So here's my noob question. For someone with no experience with extraction, would it be easier to extract or to simply make Ayuasca? Also would it be effective to do the filtering of MHRB and drink with a prescription MAOI? Would that work? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Smile

no please don't take prescription MAOI with dmt! Its NOT a good idea and isn't safe

use ayahuasca vine or syrian rue

as far as whats "easier", extracting dmt or brewing, there both real easy and take around the same time frame to do. it just seems daunting at first before you do it. both routes are very rewarding to build a relationship with but that said, working with these powerful teachers can be far from easy at times

Thank you very much for letting me know! Glad I asked before trying anything. Now when I do end up doing it I will need to have enough for 2 people. If making ayahuasca, would it be possible to make 2 doses at once? Also can you reference me a good ayahuasca recipe? Once that is fairly simple. Also another concern I have is getting the MHRB. With ordering it, if I order it pre powdered is it illegal? Would customs possibly seize the package? I'm in the United States. Also any other suggestions you have are greatly appreciated.

we can't talk about MHRB sourcing anymore on the nexus. technically MHRB is illegal in the U.S. if you know that it contains dmt

I had no idea. Sorry. Hopefully I haven't broken any rules. What's your personal suggestion as a substitute?

Hello Curiousguy,

Welcome to the Nexus. Questions are okay as long as one makes an attempt to research answers themselves first. At least that is the general attitude I perceive here.

I do hope you will take some time to write and submit a formal Introduction Essay. I'd love to learn a bit more about you. And the more you post the more chances you have for promotion votes.

You have come to the Nexus at a time of transition and forced evolution. I encourage you to take a good look around - it will take some time as this place is huge and full of depth information, compiled over years by people who really care.

Now that MHRB is no more, huge amounts of research is being pushing forward for various new plants (such as various acacias and phalaris grasses) and new extraction teks. Also, there's a big push (suppliers area too) to grow live plants and start from seed - the entheogenic resources that we desire but that are not hard to procure.
"But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment. The present moment, ultimately, is more than enough, a gift of grace and unfathomable value, which our friend and lover death paints in stark relief."
