Has anyone here ever asked an entity this specific question or one like it:

"What am I supposed to do?"/"What should I focus on with my life?"

I feel like this is going to be the first question to come to mind if I get the chance to ask it, and was wondering what others, if any, experience has been.

Often I feel overwhelmed in this process of "letting go" that I have been going through for the past year and half (after having my first "breakthrough" experience with LSD), and often feel like although on one hand I have faith that staying open to the universe and existing in the moment will lead me through life in a spiritually fulfilling way, on the other hand I am afraid that somehow I'm going to miss out or botch what it is I am supposed to do while on this dusty rock.

I'm aware of what the standard spiritual answers that come from books and high guys like Ram Dass, Parahamansa Yogananda, etc... but was really curious as to what an "entity" might have to say on the matter.

Has anyone ever gotten specific instructions to do something here in the physical (not general like "quit drinking", but something like talk to x, say y, then wait), and done so with positive results?

Sorry if this is weird!

Mods feel free to remove or merge as necessary :]

Hey man. I haven't asked that specific question exactly, but I've asked something similar.

For years, in my adolescent stage, I always had this drive to find whatever hidden truths there were of this world. Needless to say, I was never satisfied. I quit searching hard for these truths, as I believe that when you don't look, only then you can see them. It's more of a Taoist teaching that I adopted.

Last summer, I finally took my first, and only as of right now, dmt trip. I could feel the marrow in my bones. It was strange. I'm rambling right now, so I apologize. When I closed my eyes, I saw a figure standing before me. I thought, "You know me. You know what I seek."

Well, he certainly knew. He flew upward, and as I looked up to follow him, there before me was a giant, greenish God(?) staring down at me. I suppose it could have been the personification of the universe. It held a chest that filled me momentarily with energy. At that point, I understood everything. I slowly watched this energy leave me and return to the chest that this god held. I couldn't pursue it because my path was blocked by possibly the same figure that led me there.

After the trip, I felt satisfied. I didn't care about knowing everything. If I waited long enough, it could all become my own again. Needless to say, if you ask for advice, you'll get what you need. Just be careful because you might not always need what you expect.

I apologize for the long post, but I hope it's helped in some way. I would like to say that this might depend on what you run into. Also, if advice is given, you'll likely need to interpret the meaning for yourself. For me, the events that I described led me to realize that I don't need to search for the answers because they'll come in time.

Integration of an experience is one of the most important aspects of psychedelics like DMT.

Asking questions to the entities is never a bad thing but always be a critical thinker in this, it can very well be that the entities are not real, that hyperspace is not real and that you are making decisions based on a chemical in your head.

In the Health & Safety page we have a nice part about integration, and these are parts of it:

Quote:
Question things! Do not believe literally and take at face-value what anybody tells you (whether its religious leaders, politicians, your friends or your psychedelic experiences/entities). Be self-critical, put things in perspective. Specially doubt and avoid believing any experience/feeling that involves "grandeur" ideas and anything that leads to extreme dissociation from other human beings ('im the chosen one, others are sheep'Pleased.

Be extremely careful with suicidal thoughts (read point 7). Anything involving violence or ideas that would disrupt other people's lives should be avoided/disbelieved at all costs.

Quote:
Do not make strong decisions during/just after a psychedelic experience. So if you really feel like saying something important to somebody, or quitting your job due to a realization, or any radical decision, write it down but please always wait for the next day (or week or month), to think over and get the perspective from another state of consciousness.

If its the right decision, one can still make it afterwards even if one has waited, but if its the wrong decision and one makes it impulsively, there might be no turning back and one can seriously disrupt his/her or other people's lives.

Please take that advice to heart.

Kind regards,

The Traveler

The Traveler had some very good advice, especially since we don't know what these entities really are. (our mind, us, godhead, angels, demons, jins, archetypes, elementals, AI, aliens, me, you....etc) Shocked And often times they can say/emanate cryptic, bizarre, disturbing and yet at times very clear and straight forward messages.

Ask away and be curious after all you are exploring your mind or "other". I would just be respectful and humble if you do.

My first breakthrough on DMT seemed very long and intense (I won't go into the whole thing but I will just mention thisSmile I remember after warping through a bright colorful tunnel I ended up in a bizarre place, several entities approached then surrounded me (I was scared shittless as my skeptical mind is realizing omg this is actually happening). As the entities approached I asked my first question in Hyperspace. I asked them "What are you?" they responded with something like "You can not see us as we truly are, and even if you could you are incapable of comprehending us." ... cryptic as usual it seems answers are often times for me.

I have asked many questions, and have gotten many personal answers. Now I just try to go out there with a clear mind and good intentions and see what happens. Thumbs up

Please share ,if you feel up to it, what questions you ask and if you get any answers. Its always nice to hear other explorers adventures.
“Accessing your existence before the current one is of no concern, all you need to know is open your Heart and just BE” - A loving Entity from a Breakthrough
“To question is good, but take delight in contentment as well, because always asking “WHY?” too much can create a feedback loop into madness.” - A concern Entity from a Pharma voyage.

I have often wondered if we should ask such entities for advice and the conclusion I have come to is that we should ask but don't always be so quick to believe. While these entities are of a much "higher" intelligence than us I assume that not all of them have our best intentions in mind.

What you believe will truly become your reality and there may be destructive entities out there so be cautious. On the flip side I have learned that just because I don't want to believe something doesn't make it not true. But even if something is true there may be things that I am just not ready to understand.

New understanding always brings with it more questions which can sometimes lead to a maddening loop of questions in which your reality can be shattered. I have been in this state of mind before and if it weren't for certain loving entities who guided me out with higher intelligence I would be what most people perceive to be insane.

I have become determined to pursue truth but also to delight in the contentment of not understanding everything when I can't. I realize that I am ripping off digital machine's quote here but it is exactly as I have understood it Smile
Belief is your power, use it wisely.

Usually the communication I have with entities seems to be a one-way street. They usually give me information, but they seldom react to questions I pose them in the form of thoughts. I never tried speaking my questions aloud, so who knows, maybe that's what I needed to do. They react to my emotions and my mental state, but they don't usually respond to "psycho-verbal" statements (thought-speech). A lot of the time they don't speak English, and often when they do it's quite non-sensical, like they're all English words but in the wrong places and the sentences don't really mean anything. Every now and then I'll get an entity that can communicate coherently with proper grammar and sensibly (such as narrating the scene), but it never occurs to me in those moments to try and commune with them. Perhaps the time is ripest when they are communicating most clearly already. Usually any responses are in visual form at best.

I have gone into trips/launches requesting "learning and memory." It seemed to help. I would suggest that one keep it simple, on the level of the above.

I once went in trying an experiment where I tried to get the entities to solve a math problem that I had no idea what the answer to was. This turned into a mess as the entities were too playful to want to do math. The whole thing broke down into number synaesthesia. I'd call out a number such as 2 or 5 and all of a sudden there's be entities hanging off of and inside giant forms of the the numbers, spewing out the same number endlessly and fractally, Razz.

I frequently got messages from my trips. More from myself, illuminating/reflecting my issues/heavy stuff, rather than from an entity per se.
