Uncertainty and speculation about death, consciousness and the like are awesome. I totally relate to that, hopefully most of us do. Altering your body chemistry, though, is dead physical. And speculations are quite irrelevant when it comes to change your body with drugs, not to mention others bodies. Then, neurobiology is perfectly able to kick your ass to oblivion no matter what your beliefs say. I don't think anyone here is suggesting that your experience was negative or without value. No one can judge the value of your experience. But a lot of people come here not just to find helpful information, but that validation you mention as well. Some inexperienced people may hope that their expectations and wishes are encouraged. Some might hope to find reports of someone smoking large doses, doing crazy stuff and having a blast and then bragging about it online, because that's what some teenagers do and they like to play that validation game. And those games, sooner or later, end in disaster. So people in this community, particularly moderators, need to clearly remind not just the poster, but whoever reads such reports, about the fact that's a poor model and that's not the kind of use of psychedelics that this community endorses. For the simple fact that, if your way to engage DMT was common, communities like this would eventually cease to exist. "The Menu is Not The Meal." - Alan Watts

parallelwhispers wrote:Is sage an maoi? I guess it was rather unintelligent of me to mix my changa up with sage without knowing much about sage in the first place, let alone the plant matter pictured that I could not identify.
No changa contains an MAOI if you did it right; harmaloids from rue or caapi. If you did not add them to your sage/DMT mix then you only had enhanced leaf which is much different. I was speaking of when you said you smoked the mystery plant on top of DMT and your changa. "stupid irresponsible child got the notion that the plant was sacred and clean just because he was tripping on dmt, what a stupid, stupid, very irresponsible child, obviously his experience was tainted with irresponsibility and therefore held no real value, and was completely negative in every way, this stupid irresponsible child should probably off himself before he does any more damage to our sacred, scared community."- some people. No one ever said that there was no real value to your experience, we are only trying to let you know that the actions you took were potentially dangerous to yourself and your friends. Albeit some of us can be a bit harsh when it comes to this, but you have to understand how many times people come to the Nexus and spew some story about how they did this and that when in reality it was quite foolish and they are lucky to have been spared of injury/death/mental problems/incarceration or a combination of such things. You are not only endangering those involved but also as you said potentially bringing a bad reputation to the molecule. I have done plenty of irresponsible things with substances and come out just fine, had a great time and spiritual insights were received. That doesn't mean it wasn't irresponsible, you are lucky you all had a great time and experienced a powerful connection with your friend. We weren't there to experience what you did, so it may be a little hard for us to see the benefit you got out of it past all the risky actions you described in your OP. The direction of the community is clearly stated "Learn, share and expand" if you post risky behavior you can expect the community to set you straight so to speak. If you have ever been scolded by your parents for doing something dangerous you can relate (not that we are trying to be parental figures), we just want each other to be safe and get the most out of the molecule without endangering the limited amount of freedom we have with these plants. We want to set an example for future explorers and society to show them that psychedelics are tools for the mind and spirit and can be used safely and responsibly. I appreciate the fact that you and your friends got something out of the experience but I sincerely hope you will be more careful so that you can have more experiences like that again minus the safety risks. I envy the part where you and Jester are in hyperspace together. I wish I could have a similar, though more responsible, experience with my friend Damon. disclaimer: cirquefreak333 is a fictional character used in a novel I am writing, and none of the things a real person may type is anything a real person, living or dead, ever experienced or thought

parallelwhispers, It's all cool, everyone makes mistakes. But why are you so defensive here, talking about concepts of death and such? Imagine that you would have been hit by a driving car. Imagine you were poisoned by smoking the unknown plants. Imagine it got investigated. Image they found out you were on dmt. Imagine the media got hold of this. Imagine it got out in the news. Imagine what this would do to the reputation of dmt. Imagine what action the authorities would take. Imagine what people will think of dmt and dmt users in the future. Is it really that hard to see? You have a responsibility. Instead of seeing that, you blame people here for calling you irresponsible for what you did. The point is: other than your personal safety, you are playing games with the reputation of the dmt. Get it? Again, its fine to make mistakes, but it wouldn't hurt to open your eyes a bit and see whats going on. Hope you learn Peace some = one | here = some | there = one

Luckily, this sounds like a good ol time. I would always make sure to clean the bowl after loading a regular dose. What worries me here is that one hundred mgs is more than twice needed for a breakthrough. And a breakthrough is nothing to mess with... something I would personally never try and give good friends of mine who have had amazing sub-breakthrough experiences. But, after someone takes a toke, how are you going to know how much is left in the pipe? Clean it, weigh it, smoke it.

The OP has said countless times that he acknowledges he acted stupid and and promises he's not doing it again and he's going to be more responsible in the future but people here keep on bashing him. I think his answers here have shown maturity while other users here just keep on bashing him and being very negative. What's up with the negativity? I sometimes don't get this place. ––––––
DMTripper is a fictional character therefore everything he says here must be fiction. I mean, who really believes there is such a place as Hyperspace!!

I felt a rush of frost, the coldest I've ever been, freezing to the core. The jester blew out a plume of thick frosty vapor, the whole world seemed to go dead cold and I felt the need to run away, I got up and said "Dude, What is that cold? do you feel that?" and he said "yes" and I said "what is it man?" literally terrified and so cold that I didn't even believe I could move, and the jester said "Just let it flow, do not tense up" and I relaxed a bit I asked "Is this death?" he said "maybe the concept." I asked "well should we lay down and die?" and the jester said "no, we should not."
This part of your description was the most curious to me. Do you think that this sensation was because you were outside in the cold and the DMT effected your processing of the temperature, or do you feel it was created purely by the DMT (more of a mental perception)? The reason I ask is because it's not only odd, but frightening. It sounds very frightening. The feeling of the world being dead sounds like a sharp drop in serotonin, and seeing as how much you were doing in that one night, may be a possibility. Can you possibly elaborate on this part and your take on what it could have been?

DMTripper, as for me personally i'm sure he gets it by now yes. Unlike others, my concern is not focused on his health. I'm pretty sure he can take care of himself. I wanted to make a point which I felt hasn't yet been made. My point being, it's good to be aware of certain responsibilities when using DMT in public places. I used this topic as an example and a means to state what I think these responsibilities are. This place, is an open forum. Being an open forum, if my message gets across to someone random reading it, making him think twice and stop doing something silly, jeopardizing the image of dmt, i will have achieved my goal. That was my point. A point which i didn't make for the first time on this forum. Having said that, I do think that the chance of something happening to AnAngelicProcess in particular was extremely small. Therefore I agree, there is no point in bashing him out of proportion. some = one | here = some | there = one

I sometimes don't get this place. I feel the same way. The extreme level of condescension in this thread irks me. Yes, he made a lot of bad choices, but it seems like he acknowledged that he made mistakes and that he did learn from them. It pained me to see the first ten or so responses on here. *One* response of a 'scolding' nature like that would have gotten the point across, I think. I'll say something positive to the OP: Your experience was very fun to read! I love reading trip reports where strange things happen. I wouldn't have wanted to find myself in your position, but reading the experience was certainly entertaining. Thank you for the entertaining read. And I mean that in an absolutely genuine way. ^_^ I am also Psychedaniellia (https://www.dmt-nexus.me/forum/default.aspx?g=profile&u=15453 ) on here, apparently. I didn't mean to make two accounts… :/
According to a lot of other peoples' signatures, every statement and story told on this website seems to be fabricated. And on account of the supreme weirdness of life, I must agree and do testify to this! :]

Interesting read. I don't think I've heard of any more reckless behavior with hallucinogens than this. And I've seen people on benso + alcohol snort up huge lines of DXM and taken lots of other drugs at derailed parties - many people laugh, but most just ask themselves what kind of person would be so destructive? Hopefully you truly understand just how reckless you have been and just don't say that you do just to please people. I hope that you will be more responsible with the spice in the future.
