Hi everyone!

So this is SWIMs first post on the nexus, but SWIM has been reading for quite a while.
AFOAF recently told SWIM of his plans to start extracting DMT.
After extensive research this FOAF has come to realise that very little to no documented extraction is being done in Africa, and as far as he can tell there is also very limited knowledge on the best plants to use down here, even though we have an abundance of biodiversity that includes many Acacia species.

With this in mind the FOAF has decided he will be a pioneer on this wild continent (as he said before he has been underwhelmed with previous African efforts- at least the documented ones). He has a source searching for the right plants in the right places but he has a question about one in particular- the Black Wattle or Acacia Mearnsii- although it is indigenous to Australia it is found in abundance in South Africa as an invasive/alien species. His question comes in 3 parts:

1) Is this plant, as he has heard, a container of DMT?
2) Which parts of the plant contain DMT and in what concentraions?
3) Could he use the bark from firewood he can obtain from a local source (He is mainly asking to find out if that bark would be useable after being dried out for so long).

SWIMs FOAF looks forward to many enriching discussions on this forum and to hopefully contributing some new knowldge to its annals.

Thanks, SWIM has been looking at thread and almost every other on the internet! And as SWIM said in the original post he has realised that there is not very much useful information when it comes to the Acacias to be found in Africa, so hopefully SWIM will be adding some after a few attempts at extraction.

One thing he might try is using the Acadia he does find, and seeing if it pulls anything. I have yet to extract myself, but from what I understand the materials are pretty cheap (though I don't know if that is the case in Africa)

tripplepolian, there is no need to use SWIM/FOAF on Nexus.

Yes agreed, trial and error will be the best way forward as the materials are not overly expensive out here either, plus like I said before I believe we have a lot of potentially undiscovered DMT containing species out here in any case.



So what about self incrimination? Surely law enforcement could be trolling the nexus??
