Hi there, this is my second post,
Im into spice since a year, and i have many failed extractions, I think for false MHRB.
Finally a good friend from Chiapas send me 150gr of bark and Im ready for my first real extraction, I have many attemps with this tek, so I virtually memorize the steps, but in the last attemps, the RB was in very fine powder. And the bark my friend send me is in fibres, so I cut it to 1cm little chunks, and later I just put it on the kitchen blender, and after 3 or 4 re-blendings i always end with a fibrous consistency and not fine powder.

I read in Q21 tek steps, that the kitchen blenders make MHRB most fibrous than powder, so I think its OK, but now I have doubts about basification step, so what are the best consistency from the bark with the lime, o I just ignore the consistency and keep the proportions right from the steps and thats all?? I mean 3gr lime for 4gr MHRB, and forget about the consistency variations with fibre and powder?

Im in the acidification step, and the consistency is really different from the others I have with powder.

I take a picture from the bark before the cut and the blending.
And another from the acidification step ( 50ml hot water + 50ml vinegar for 45gr mhrb)

From visual observation via picture the consistency looks fine to me.

The color of the root bark in the first picture looks a little pale to me (might be just the camera), but the consistency in the second is probably okay. If you are concerned with it being too coarse, just give it some extra time in the acid cooking and it should be fine.

Vodsel you are right, the color was pale, but when y blend the bark, the pink-purple color goes out to play! Smile

So I finally ad more vinegar to the mudge and leve it a swimmering boil with hot water for 1.5 hours, just to let me stay sure, the acidic step is ok with this fibrous consitency.

Y then add the lime (50gr for 45gr mhrb) and after that y make my first 2 pulls, with 65ml naphta each pull.

Put it in the fridge an 4 hours later, tadaaaaaaan!!
little spice crystals all sticked in the bottom of the pyrex dish!!!

Smile

I really reallyy very happy, after 5 bad tries, I finally have one succesfull extraction.
Thank you for all the precious information in the site.
Smile

Post a couple of pictures of the process, one shot for the basification step, other from the pull and finally the one with the spice.

wow, looks like a great yield! glad you had found success with this extraction! Doing the same tek at the moment, freeze precipitating right now. (:

Is true!! was very good, from 90gr MHRB I get 1.2gr of pure fluffy little magic crystals!!
Smile

I'm really in love with this tek, I think it'a like DMT for Dummies or something like that.
Besides, sparked my interest in chemestry and now I'm reading books of basic chemestry.

From the original 100gr MHRB I get from my friend, also save me 10gr and 4gr S.Rue to do some Anahuasca in a couple of weeks.

I can not thank all of the information on this site, as well I could achieve my successful extraction, simple procedures that connect us with all that exists.

I love vaporize freebase, but I don´t like the extra short time, so if decid to make a little changa.

I made a little micro experiment with 200mg mint leaves and 100mg DMT spice. Disolve and enhaced in IPA alcohol. Let evaporate by itself al then smko it!!

Before that I only try mullein changa 1:1, really sweet, smooth, and relaxing to the lungs and throath.
The mint changa is not bad, the fresh flavour opaque the clorophila flavour and that is a good thing, but in taste I prefer mullein.
I have no mullein so for now mint was my option.
For that micro experiment I can get 2 really good doses, one for me and one for one friend.
Simply awesome!! the effect, the colors, the minty flavour and the satisfaction to know that all the work have results at the finish of the day Smile

So, after the experiment, i make 500mg spice + 500 mg mint leaves changa and now is sitting and alowly evaporating.
In other glass shot i put 300mg spice + 300mg mint + 300mg grounded sirian rue, just for test it.

Smile

And finally I want to upload this painting I did 2 or 3 years ago, he lives in the wall of my bedroom I always when I smoke, seems to be that entities like it, sometimes merging them with the painting and make it move, superimposing geometries that conform perfectly to your figure and change every second with another set of geometries, always beaoutifull and fleshly colored. Oranges, greens, and intense blackish-purplish shadows all moving around!!
Cool

that's an amazing painting! that's awesome that the entities seem to like it.

1.2 grams from 100g of mhrb is awesome!
