Hello everyone,

For my first post in this forum i want to share something strange /special. I have no idea what happened. But it seemed as if i almost had a break though naturally during a lucid dream..

The dream scene changed from one into an other. I forgot the details. I remember a peaceful vibe. Someone was meditating. It seemed relaxed so i decided to as well. I sat myself in the lotus position. As soon as i did everything went dark. It felt like the dream stopped. That I was waking up. I could semi-feel my body. But I didn't entirely. The dream visuals were minimal, but still present. Mainly black, vague landscapes with sharp silhouettes. And I heard a song, a lady singing. Her words so crystal clear that i knew i must still be dreaming. A lucid dream! I decided to keep the meditation going. Focused on concentrating on nothing. I told myself will not let anything distract me. I will only observe the "sensory" input. But will not identify myself with it. I will just let it pass through. Just like thoughts during normal meditation.

I was fully aware of the situation. My body lying in bed. My brain in dream wave frequency mode. My mind entering a near perfect state of meditation. It was a very special and unique moment. The inter dimensional element reminded me of DMT. So the obvious question arose. Is it possible to break though naturally? I decided to give it a try. I did what i learned in my first journeys: find the light. Soon the scenery brightened up. The source seemed light indeed. Not an external element. In the space in front of you. But behind the visual layer. Like a light shining at a movie projector screen from behind. Brightening up my dream view from the back. I noticed the light to be for what it is. Everything brightened up in an accelerating fashion. To the point where nearly all was white. This was accompanied by a very strong sound. The sound was really intense, freaky. I could feel myself being sucked into space. Turned like a twister in water. Being pulled from my body. Where was i going? At this point i was overwhelmed by the intensity of it all. I felt i wasn't ready for whatever would or could happen next. It was too intense and unexplainable. I decided i needed to wake up. With a shock i did.

Perplexed i was lying in bed. thinking over what happened. On one side i felt bad i stopped. On the other i couldn't blame myself. It was too freaky to go through with. Which brings me to the my next goal: Using the DMT journeys to get used to mystic, unusual, alienated sensations. So that when I start to break through naturally, might i be so lucky that it ever occurs again, i will have the guts to go through with it Smile

What do you all make of this? Could it be that the DMT created (or strengthened) neural pathways which i was able to open from memory? Like the rush you feel with perfect music on a party while sober, from the memory (experience) of mdma. Or the artistic eye for visual detail from the memory of an lsd trip? I can image DMT does the same..

Since this is your first post here, I have to ask. Have you done the spice before?

Congratulations! Your method is perfect for achieving this. I always find concentrating on nothing always achieves lucid dreams then you can simply do exactly what you did and get the intense body load and intense noise which is similar to DMT. If you continue this method regulary, you will end up feeling the overwhelming waves and intense sound through normal dreaming which then you become lucid and then automaticly forced into a breakthrough unless you decide to pull out. It took myself quite a few attempts to get the courage to get through this stage, one of many stages.

In my opinion it is alot more intense than DMT and definitely freaky the first few times. When you overcome the fear of breaking through or being sucked in you'll hear somewhat of a 'pop' followed by an eerie distorted silence. Which will change overtime depending where you navigate too.

Sometimes you may hear voices and sounds prior to breaking through aswell as after just stay calm and positive/neutral! Just remeber your state of mind and thoughts will influence, attract and create what you are experiencing. I suggest start off close to home your first few trys. I've experienced mind blowing and mystic realms aswell as fractual realms within the last 3 months or so. My second time exploring a while back in my house, my fear got the better of me and I had a negative experience but came back stronger Cool

You basically just have to let go completely or a use a seperation technique 5-15 seconds after the peak of the waves and sound. Its easier to navigate than a DMT experience and somewhat different. Light will keep you safe but sometimes may hide from you, which helped to build my courage. If you feel like a fearless warrior you can wander hehe.

Always remember to keep a positive or otherwise a neutral mindset(silent). Also remember to love all things, even if they are evil and ugly; send some love from me! They can sense your fear Laughing

I hope that some of my experiences may assist you in some way,
Safe travels!Thumbs up

somethingsintheway: I should write an introduction post about myself. But yes. I've done 4 sessions so far. About 3 trips per session. So about a dozen times. What i meant to say/ask was indeed: Was i able to break through naturally (if i went through with it) because of my DMT experience? Through which i either learned which path to take /what the possibilities are. And/or because it created a neurological network (pathway) - or strengthend it, similar to mdma and lsd flashbacks.

WarriorSage: I can't believe what i'm reading. That's awesome! Unfortunately i can count on one hand the amount of lucid dreams i had in my live. But what you mention definitely motivates me to start practicing. Interesting how similar our experience is. I heard a very clear voice, singing. Escalating DMT-like sensations. Freaky sound /vibration. The light. Being sucked in. Amazing.. Thanks for giving comfort in knowing it's not just me. How many times have you managed to break through this way? And how long does it usually feel it lasts? Which separation technique are you talking about?

Thanks for sharing Smile

To answer your question from my experience - I had this happen about 5 times before I had tried DMT. My brother also a couple of times. One of them was a quick breakthrough which ended with me freaking myself out. Once I tried DMT not so long after I felt the massive connection between ithe two and started to seek this path of doing it naturally as well as the occasional spice. Infact I give majority of my DMT away as gifts. I then read some books, conqored my fears, started the path of destroying my ego and took on the traits of my idol Warrior-Sage.Thumbs up

Unfortunatly lucid dreaming takes practice and patience but will become natural over time. Thank god for technology assisting us in our day to day troubles-

I am yet to try this lucid dream mask, but will update you with how it goes within a few weeks!

I would say that the voice is coming from the light as assistance to give you comfort and the courage to let go and make it through. Most people are turned away by there first experience with this intense feeling and want nothing to do with it BUT its only the beginning! Take the light as a blessing and seek it. Dream, believe, achieve!Thumbs up

I often had similar experiences when I started out. As well as being violently jerked through, which I quickly jumped litrally in the air to end it because I was not in the state of mind to exploring this sesation. I was then violently pulled back in while I was awake only a couple of seconds later but managed to fight the sensation and stop it. This was before I had even reached the breakthrough stage and was not quite ready.

The waves/vibration as well as sound can sometimes come in slow euphoric pulses, or can come on quite rapid. Then theres the intense sensation that feels like a group of people are trying to rip you through as quick as possible.

I've had around 15-20 breakthrough using this technique(via lucid dreaming) in the last 3 months. I've been a bit slack lately though hehe. My shortest has been about 15 seconds and my longest which was roughly 5-7 hours. I prefer to use a WILD(Wake-Induced-Lucid-Dream) which is basically when you meditate prior, then induce a trance state(complete silent mind as well as losing yourself in the darkness or flowing towards the darkness) which will result into some trippy or confusing images/videos, followed by a lucid dream which you then take control of. I prefer this because you are in the right state of mind because you have just been doing some meditation.

Otherwise you can induce them during your sleep in a lucid dream, or it will induce itself over time. I don't like this method because it catches me off guard and also dreams prior could infulence your state of mind/memory. You can also try a seperation technique which is basically, visualising your exit. I have tried to break through before using this technique but accidently woke my self up feeling quite tingly aswell as some left over ringing in my ear hehe. But it does work indeed from my experience.

You can try visualing a ladder and climbing up it, floating through the ground/air, visualing your self sitting up, climbing a rope. You must wait 5-15 seconds after the peak or maybe longer to give your self more chance aswell as using concentrated pure thoughts. Using these techniques I found I usually end up in my 'tinted' room, which is quite trippy because everything is so sharp and clean. Its quite a weird feeling as you watch your vehicle fast asleepLaughing. Completely letting go will also get you through but maybe onto a direct path elsewhere. You will get the hang of it!

Seek that voice & light as it should guide you. Also remember your state of mind and thoughts will influence, attract and create what you are experiencing. Make sure you maintain a calm, positive/neutral(silent) mindset aswell as sending out plently of love vibes. Keep me updated buddy! Sorry if this does not make sense at times, I was in quite of a rushThumbs up

I have had a very similar experience!

I fell a sleep and was totaly aware of me slipping in to the "dream state" at first it was all dark exept for a small dot of light straight in front of me.
As I became more comfortable with the dream I felt I was being sucked closer to the light dot and it started to surround me until i recocnized the typical DMT thunnel.
I flew faster and faster towards the light wich now started to take the shape of a light lotus flower but still in the middle a dot of pure light.
At this moment i recognized the buzzing sound and increasing vibration.
Still going faster closer and closer towards the dot/ lotus flower of light i started to go from pure bliss to anxiety.
Thats when it struck me! I dont want to go into the light thats where you die right!?
so i started to "pull back" but i couldnt becuase i was sucked.
Fear struck me so i sruggled harder and tried to scream to no use.
Well eventually i was able to pull backwards and wake up with a gasp!
i had that same feeling that i was glad i didnt go in there but at the same time i was a bit
sad that i didnt dare to. Who knows what amazing stuff awaited me in there!
Thx for this post I have thought alot about this experience but never had the chance to retry it.

Nice description :]

this sort of thing happens to me all the time

often when i go lucid in a dream i'll just sit down and meditate into some very very strange states of mind. This isn't the only way to enter into psychedelic spaces in a dream though, it can happen in any way imaginable really. But meditating seems to be a great way- especially since it helps stay lucid since the deep breathing slows your heartbeat (too excited=higher heart beat=faster brain waves which takes you out of REM sleep). A lot of the time it just happens whether i like it to or not

for example once i was in a dream where i was at a lecture...i'd looked away for a second, and when i looked back my professors entire body was made of a fractal vortex of endless dimensions that i just warped right into. Other times i've looked down at my body and its made of space, stars, and planets, and i just dive right in. Another time i just looked into a friends eyes, and their iris grew into a spinning chrysanthemum that overtook everything. Other times i've been driving a car or just walking around and the world gradually merges with this amaringo-style hyperdimension that just over takes everything. It can be a LOT like dmt, but most of the time its really more like some very strong ayahuasca brew with a bit of salvia at times and other aspects that are just unlike any psychedelic i've ever taken

<Ringworm>hehehe, it's all fun and games till someone loses an "I"

AHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhHHhhHHHHhhHhh you just described something I experienced a couple of weeks ago, I was in a lucid dream, very much aware that I could move around it, looking at a village scene I didn't recognise, with a beautiful nebulae like scene above me, everything was colours of blues, greens, different shades, very twilight. The second I realised I was lucid dreaming, I felt a tremendous amount of peace and then started to hear a familiar ringing sound, the second I heard this sound I felt a tremendous sence of acceleration and was instantly surrounding by blinding white light, it felt like the annihalation or ego death and then became exactly like it when I first tried DMT, it was so intense, beyond word's I didn't have a clue what was happening and actually felt this huge "jolt" like feeling of my astral self slamming back into my body, incredible... but entirely overwhelming and beyond words.. so beautiful.

Thank you so much for sharing this Very happy

Thanks for sharing as well you guys! I hope knowing that others experience the same gives way to the anxiety when it happens again.

I did have similar experiences occasionally throughout my life. But i always backed out. Later i learned about sleep paralysis followed by lucidity. Understanding it from physiological point of view i accepted it for what it was. I was able to relax and let it happen. An amazing sensation. Your body getting bend and twisted in impossible positions and hovering above the floor.

But i think now - after my DMT experience, i was able to place the vibration and see the light. As if more aware. It felt that because of this - if i would have let it happen, i would have broken through. This made my last experience different from my previous ones.

Thanks for the explanation and techniques WS. I will try get into lucid dreaming again. Let me know how that dream mask works out.
