Xaniki... your vision may be a bit differen't for a while after acid. This doesn't need to be seen as a bad thing its very much what you make of it. take a deep breath mate.. you'll be fine there's no need to worry so much. It seems that you are perhaps overanalysing the physical sensations you are getting and maybe associating them with the bad experience you had.
The more you analyse how you feel physically the more your thought is going to be caught up on worrying and thus the more anxiety ridden and mentally exhausted you will feel. Just relax and remember that you are going to be ok. A lot of us have gone through what you are going through... at the time it may seem like you keep going backwards.. this was the case with me. But you gotta take control and stick with the present moment. As others have said, if you feel your mind wandering in a negative direction, focus on your breathing. And do so relentlessly even if it feels exhausting at first. Stay strong brother.

It's been an interesting voyage. Tonight I went to a mates house to chill for a few hours with a few of the fellas. I was a bit anxious early on for a while, but after a while it cleared right up. It seems everything is looking up from here, for real this time. Only had 1 of those anti-anxiety tablets, so all is well. (:

I wont be touching anything but sweet Mary Jane (waiting until next year) from now on... With the odd DMT if it pops up, which of course is not very often!

You're moving in a very positive direction, Xaniki. I know that can be hard to sense when you're in the midst of it, but reading back over this thread it's undeniable that you're bouncing back, and with a new and expanded perception. I agree that it's important not to get hung up on the small physical side effects, which may have little or nothing to do with your LSD experience and are likely just to feed that anxiety loop. You've got yourself pointed in the right direction. I'm confident that you'll be able to look back at this experience from a future standpoint and see how important it was.

If all it accomplished was to scare you away from methamphetamines, already worth the price of admission. That could have saved your life. But you are now also a more aware person, as described in your bank experience. Once you've integrated all of this you're likely to be a more well-adjusted individual across the board.

B-vitamins & fish oil in the morning will both help with anxiety.
Magnesium supplement at night helps with restful sleep.
urtica is a fictional character. nothing written by this fictional character has anything to do with reality. if urtica was real, and performing any activities that are restricted by certain governmental forces, these activities would be performed in Heaven where nothing is true & everything is permitted.

I take 1 Krill Oil a day (It's supposed to be 9 times stronger than fish oil). You think that would do the same thing?

2 Weeks tomorrow and I've went from 65kg to 61.5kg (I'm 172cm's tall, and a pretty small build anyway) and I feel like I'm still losing weight... I've been eating super healthy, exercising, not touching any drugs (not even Mary Jane). I used to eat fatty take away foods every single night almost, and now I don't have any (well, I've had it once, and even then it was half the size I used to eat).

I've tried eating more, but I can't stomach it (anxiety feeling, then I feel over full and want to vomit if I keep eating :/ ). I feel like I'm going to continue losing weight...

This sucks D: ! Anyone got tips on eating certain foods, or ways of not thinning away to nothing?

To be honest i don't think losing a few kg should really be such an issue to be fretting over at the moment Xaniki....and it definitely wouldn't be a direct effect of taking LSD. I would attribute much of that weight loss to stress as it seems you've been very stressed out lately. If you keep stressing about losing weight, the chances are, you may keep losing weight. Stay positive and just keep eating healthily Smile

You'll level off. The fact that you're sticking to healthy foods is great- think of this as a cleansing.

As far as putting some of that back on goes... I'd like to suggest protein shakes, such as Spiro-tein or something along those lines. Read up on protein shakes; you can formulate them specifically for weight gain. My wife makes a blender full of smoothie every morning- a mix of all kinds of top quality organic stuff, sometimes with protein powder added. The extra goes in the fridge and I'll finish it over the course of the day between meals and late in the evening. I live a kind of actively stressful lifestyle and often the smallest notch on my belt isn't small enough, so I can relate. Shakes can help.

It's weird hey... I feel I want to be positive, and I am being positive, but because of the whole not smoking weed anymore, the typical "getting angrier easy" is pretty noticeable lol, so it's a hard task. >_<

The anxiety lingers but is really manageable, so that's cool (only ended up taking 2 of the anti-anxiety pills the doc gave me)... Things are looking up, but at the same time I think I might need to get my eyes checked. Things from a distance are blurrier than I remember, and my pupils seem larger than they used to be. That being said, I work as a computer technician, and stare at computers for 8 hours a day, then another 4 probably when I get home. :/

The headache is still noticeable, but I've convinced myself it's normal and will go away, so everything is looking up!

I also work with my eyes focused up close for many hours a day. The standard remedy for this- and it really works- is to take a break every couple hours and focus on a distant object. Trace the outline of it with your eyes. This ensures that your eye muscles don't overspecialize for close range, which can happen really easily.

Everything was starting to really get better (and it still is), but I had a minor setback this weekend... I had a friend with a blend of synthetic marijuana (I wasn't aware it was at first, I was informed it was just Potpourri itself (I was suss of it, but was with a good friend, so I went with it), from what I considered to be a 'reliable source'Pleased. I gave it a go, and felt a really strong buzz (unpleasant initially, then similar to weed, but really brought out visual snow as much as I had after the bad acid trip, as in really bad, but it seems to have went down a bit. Although... If I look at a screen, then look at my yellowish walls in my bedroom, it's waaaay worse than before... Kind of looks like a horizontal beam of light going across, it sucks and I hope that it isn't permanent. I thought it was because I packed quite a large cone). It was a bit odd but doesn't last long, and I ended up having a few stupidly...

It seems as if I have pretty bad HPPD now, which is a huge setback :/

Does anyone else have any suggestions on what to do?

XaniKi, most advice in this thread is solid. Still, i want to weigh in. See, i had a pretty disturbing anxiety disorder for a year or something and i recognize certain similarities. Anxiety is in your head and nowhere else. It is not the trip, it is YOU...and your developing anxiety. It sustains your symptoms. You are ustaining them. You will be fine, but listen: Stop paying attention to your fears.

Sounds easier said than done? Yes, most certainly. But if you want to stop it, then DECIDE to stop it.

- Stop all drugs, even coffee
- Excercize
- Meditate

...CARRY ON WITH YOUR LIFE!! Do not let this crap bug you down, just live your life as if nothing had happened - you will come to terms with your experience but only if you do not get hung up on it. It kinda draws you in and makes you scream inside. And yes, there is really something wrong with you, but propably not what you thought was wrong with you....do you get what im hinting at?

Yeah, that's the plan now. I decided to try smoking again this weekend to see how I went, and whether things were 'back to normal' or if I could notice a significant difference.

I've done a fair bit of research online with HPPD, and apparently it may never go away... :/
Being the forum that it is, I'm gonna guess there's others here who've experienced the same thing. Has anyone else noticed it goes away? Or whether it lingers / gets worse / etc?

The other odd thing with HPPD, I was reading that 'depersonalisation' is common in the scenario, so I was reading more into it as well. It sounds like I might have that too (heh, what's another thing to add to the list at this point, lol). I noticed when I was around my mates (who are like brothers to me), I kind of felt distant and not apart of what was happening (we were just chilling.. talking, watching a movie on T.V, etc), even though I know it wasn't actually unfolding that way.

On the road to recovery though, staying positive. (:

Here's an interesting thing I've also noticed... In the last few weeks this happens so often throughout the day where I'll be doing something and have whatever else on my mind (thinking of things in general, imaging scenarios, etc), then all of a sudden I'll get a memory that I'd completely forgotten about come in to my thoughts (things from when I was only a few years old, to things that happened a few years ago, completely at random). Most of which I forget again by the next day, and then it happens again. It's so weird and trippy, but at the same time enjoyable as I get to reminisce on previous memories.

They weren't bad though lol. For instance one was where I remembered having rode camels when I was a child. As for the HPPD, does that stuff ever wear off? I've heard mixed responses. :/
