So, I was lazy when I stashed my bark and the mice opened two corners. Apparently they didn't need much though looks untouched.

Any experiences with mice or animals going after bark? They're just attracted to the strange scent? Is there something in there for them?

I've had mice eat everything from important papers to socks. I think they just like fibrous stuff for nesting.
Images of broken light,
Which dance before me like a million eyes,
They call me on and on...

I've had mice eat dishwasher tablets.

Today I saw a sheep eating road grit from a gritting bin.

No, it's the humans that strayed from the natural ways that are weird. A mouse doesn't know what a detergent is nor does a sheep know that grit should only be used for the roads, not as a source of salt.

But being weird is lotsa fun!

If you see the mice staggering around the place with miniature GVG's, looking all starry eyed, ...find a new stash place..Razz

(I had a whole family nesting in my speakers...they seemed to prefer ambient though...)
