Hi there Nexus!

I was curious as to whether members with experience who have ingested say, MHRB extracted spice as well as that derived from a different source, like Acacia, have experienced different entities by way of shape, attitude, or their (entity's) environment.

The purpose of the question is to get at a few thoughts I have had lately about the entities in general:

1. Does each person have their own specific "guardian" or personalized entity/entities, or when smoking spice are journeymen contacting a static and impersonal collective of entities watching over or waiting for all participants?

2. SInce there are obvious differences from reports of journeys with Ayuhausca compared to smoked spice- are the differences between experiences with smoked spice when categorized by source of extraction as dramatic and/or varied?

3. Depending on the data regarding question 1, is it possible that the same entities are being tapped into with all DMT trips, and the source of the chemical paints the picture of the how the universal message (if there is one) is delivered?


Thank you for any insight you can lend, and I apologize if this is a boring or irrelevant discussion idea- being that I have only my reading and life experience (sans spice for now) to draw on, I hope I'm not coming off as glib ^-^

I can't answer most of your questions mainly because I have only experienced the mimosa hostilis. I can however respond to your question about entities. I don't know if this is off topic or not but I see a particular entity all the time. I have strongly held beliefs/hopes that she is my psychopomp and that I will see her when I officially go into the void. I think the entities change sometimes with changa. I have used passion flower one time, and just caapi the next time and I think I can tell a difference just with those different plants.

Absolutely I have found that. With each differen't tree I seem to get a reoccuring entity when using its extract. I can't really answer for others at all here, though I found for quite a while I was encountering the same male entity on a friend's acuminata extract...again, i have not extracted from obtusifolia, though smoking a friend's extract I found a very unique presence behind it...almost a little more mysterious than the in your face no BS( but deeply caring and wise) doctor that I found with the acuminata extract. since working with phlebophylla I have been working with a deeply caring and loving female entity... the latter I cannot even put into words the love that she is driven by. She healed my broken heart....full respect to lady phlebophylla. Its interesting too looking at the trees themselves and the vibe they give off.. acuminata does have a sort of "piercing" look about it with those intricate pointy phyllodes.. whereas phlebophylla has very feminine rounded phyllodes.

Personally though.. I don't know that these entities are anything concrete. I often get the vibe that they express themselves to me in a way that is culturally or personally significant to me. When I was getting into amazonian mythology for example, I encountered an entity that looked just like a shaman.. had a little hat with 3 feathers blossoming out of the top, intricately flowing geometric garments.. it blew smoke over me as it introduced itself.. and it ran a very bizarre fluid through me (the fluid i get with all the entities though) .. and then with the female entity I get with phleb, who knows whats going on there.. i guess its whatever I'm open to. I did also start experimenting with the extract at a time I was hurting over a relationship that couldn't be.. and it really seemed like it was giving me what I needed.. some divine feminine presence in my life. Its always been a female entity on this extract for me.. except for one time which was from a tree not from its native area..

so yeah I reckon the entities are shapeshifters.. they express themselves in a way that helps draw peoples attention maybe..

yeah .. a lot of those questions are deeply personal and cannot really be answered in a black and white fashion.. though in my experience, yes, there is a differen't entity behind each tree

Awesome thanks for the feedback you two, this is exactly what I was trying to figure out. Coming from a psychological/statistical background I suppose I thought it would be cool if there was enough overlap in experience with similar plants- that perhaps a type of living and evolving cross reference could be created.

It seems that much like dreams, the environment and mindset help to frame the experience - it would be so interesting to hear of experiences based on no frame of reference whatsoever, but I suppose they would be impossible to speak about! Maybe that's where the "ineffable" comes in?

I'd love to hear more from the nexus, and thanks again for humoring this third party observer of the spice. I can;t wait to contribute more personal experiences!

The idea of octaves speaks to me even more so as I have been doing some reading on sacred geometry, and it's relation to music. In other words the idea of:

Geometry = number in space vs. music = number in time

I wonder if the increase in experiential phenomena after smoking spice (or maybe dimensional is the right word, like your Egyptian octave), comes not from relationships between ratios of two things like length of instrument string, but actually involve the addition of third, fourth, fifth and so on of hyperdimensional elements all in simultaneous perceived resonance?

More variables of resonance = further travel up the octaves of experience. This would kind of map on with that adage of "intelligence/creativity is the ability to perceive relationships where none appear to exist", in other words the ability to perceive the relationship between multiple variables of reality results in existing, perceptually, in an octave reflective of your relational perspective on that potentially infinite hierarchy of perception- where the "godhead" would have infinite ability to see relationships between infinite amount of variables.

What do you think? This stuff is hard to talk about, but really fun.

Sounds more likely to me that our own expectations and set and setting would be way more significant to the experience, considering you have relatively pure DMT from whatever source. If, on the other hand, you have used broad-range solvents and have extracted dmt from plants that contain other alkaloids in significant quantities (like, say, used DCM for extracting some specific acacias as opposed to naphtha and mimosa), then it is possible that the trips are different.

But even if the trips were different, still other questions arise such as: what is the limit of perception regarding the other alkaloids, what % is needed of this 'something else' for you to be able to tell its different? Is there a pattern in the difference or is each trip anyways so variable that one couldn't tell which is which? etc

One can always try it blind and let us know the results
