So I was on the forum last night reading some amazing first breakthrough reports, and also read through the epic "Opti and I" thread.
Being that I have never had the chance to experience the spice, I was feeling kind of conflicted. The breakthrough reports are inspiring, exciting, and just really incredible to read- but leave me feeling like I am missing out on something that's truly special. The Opti and I thread was kind of both disturbing and a relief as it almost completely mirrored illuminations I have had in the past year while working with fungi as an entheogen.
Struck with insomnia I went into my own head and asked the universe/infinite intelligence to look into my heart and please try to understand the feelings I had that I knew it understood and that words would probably fail to express.
Fast forward to today at work (I work at a local art gallery) and a guy came in who was going on and on about how he loved the energy and wanted to thank us for doing what we do. Long story short me and him started talking about LSD and the changes it has made in our lives, and he asked me if I had ever tried the spice- or cared to. A handshake later, something I felt was so far away is now what feels like at the tip of my grasp. I can't help but feel like a prayer was answered, now it's totally up to ME when this goes down.
Here's hoping this is the "first step into a larger world," it would be cool to think I asked and the universe answered, and if not- I feel confident the time will come when everything is ready.
