Hi,
The time has come again, for the longest time I've had a hankering to take a trip. I am debating on what "vehicle" I should use in order to come close to breaking through if not break through entirely. I have access to 5-meo dmt, ibogaine, or synthetic mescaline. I've dabbled a little bit with mescaline and it turned out to be a very pleasant experience even with the nausea. I have not tried 5-meo or ibogaine but from what I've heard they are nothing to be taken lightly, in fact 5-meo could be considered the most potent of all three. Nevertheless, it's hard to discern what psy is more powerful as all doses are relative. Should I try 5-meo, ibogaine or mescaline again? Could I also get reviews on the three substances, what have been your experiences with them?

you should probly use your intuition and do what you feel called to do. One persons medicine can be another ones poison.

Hi kikko,

Welcome to the Nexus. Thank you so much for taking time to submit an introductory essay. Though a good start, I know I for one, would love to learn more about you.

What brings you to the Nexus? Have you ever tried N,N, DMT? What do you hope to achieve from your next trip. What have you achieved from your past ones? What substances did they involved?

Personally, I'd say if you have the opportunity to take a deep mescaline trip you should not pass that up. It seems to be a rare opportunity these days.

I would recommend NOT entering into 5-meo-DMT lightly. I'd encourage you to check the wiki, including Effects. I'd also encourage you to check some trip reports. Make sure this is something you think might be for you, etc. Also, the need for a precise MILLIGRAM scale cannot be overestimated here.

Again, speaking just personally, I would never enter into an ibogaine trip lightly. For me it was a once in a lifetime experience, my Eleusian Mysteries come to life. It should be used to facilitate longterm detoxing and/or integration of fractured and/or traumatized life experiences. It should never be taken without a sitter and without a full physical exam, including heart exam and EEG.

I'd love to learn more about you and hope to see more of you around. I do hope you will keep us posted.

Again, welcome to the Nexus.

I am drawn to the Nexus for same reasons you probably experienced when you first found about this wonderful site. When I discovered this site I was astonished by the wealth of information available at my finger tips. It’s great that there is so much information available for like-minded individuals to use in order to educate themselves on these relatively mysterious substances. I came here to learn more about DMT as I want more input about the substance other than the information that I have gotten from my friends. Having never taken DMT myself I am somewhat hesitant because of one thing in particular. Probably the biggest reason for not doing it is that I understand that it is very much like a “drive-by” experience where it is hard to grasp its true meaning; because smoking DMT is hard to use as a tool I hold back.

My most powerful experience would have to be the night of hashbash in A2 where I had a couple of tabs of heavily dosed LSD as well as a bottle of cough syrup. Thinking back on it now I probably would have left out the cough syrup Razz. Nevertheless my friends and I went out into the middle of the woods and decided to fuck around before the lucy kicked in. After walking for a ways we discovered a rock quarry with a lake in the middle, the setting was perfect with the full moon overhead. By that time I could definitely feel the DXM kick in but I still was waiting on lucy to show up. We decided to build a fire in order to pass the time. Gathering what we could we amassed enough sticks and grass to get a reasonable blaze going. After awhile of feeding the inferno we finally gave up and sat back and watched it burn down. The flame died down to a bed of coals which glowed and began to flow. As soon as the last flame went out I got that feeling like “we’re not in Kansas anymore” and suddenly my world began to change around me. The horizon began pitch and swell from side to side like an ocean’s waves and the darkness brought to life detailed geometric shapes. We staggered around the woods until we finally made our way back to the car. Driving home(with a designated driver) we finally got back and crashed at my friends house. What I experienced at that house could be described as a “time bubble” I was in an endless loop. I was the unmoved mover. I was prime. After awhile of this truly life changing experienced I felt myself letting go and passing the baton on. I was no longer prime, that role I figured was for someone else to fulfill. (:

I am currently looking to extract my own DMT. How much more of this psychotria viridis will I need for a healthy dose of aya? Prolly more amirite?

Lots, lots more, if you want to extract. Wink One of the reasons MHRB is (was?) so popular is the relatively high yield, about 1-2%. So just 100G of material will get you a gram or two, enough for many doses. From what I've read the yield from viridis is more like POINT 1-3%. So a quarter pound of leaf will get you, at best, about .3 of a gram. Even if you only want enough for a single aya dose, I believe that's typically 50g. The bare minimum I've heard of using is 25g, and I'd expect that to be a pretty light dose. I'm planning on taking 100g soon myself (I seem to have an unusual tolerance). That looks like probably about a gram or two of leaf you've got there so far, so keep on collecting! Thumbs up

The main reason why I want to do it this way is because of my approach to DMT. IMO the experience needs to be earned, while some earn it by going through major life changing events that need to be hashed out or creating their own DMT with MHRB I truly believe that you have to do something to "give back" in order to receive the wealth of information aya has to offer. By giving back I mean that I want to learn more about DMT and try to educate others in the future about it. With that being said one reason why I learn more and come to this site is to seek advice as to how care and nurture my plants. So by contributing to this board I am able to participate in the discussion helping other travelers along the way.

Sorry if this is a little unorthodox but I would like to be promoted to a full time member so I can participate in the community and even more so the sustainable nexus sub. I would appreciate it if my posts were valued on a basis of merit not quantity.
