Ok, so I've been at this a while and contributed to a pretty good number of advances in the entheogen world. I started out at thenook.org and still make it my home. But for my special pot growing, I go to icmag and for some cool DMT discussion I have lurked here and now have some ideas to share.

I have been doing DMT since I synthesized it in the grad school chemistry lab I worked in in 1983. Pain in the ass and we didnt have good info on smoking techniques. Moderate success at best.

Then Ive been happily extracting it for about 10 years, but Ive never been happy with the whole deal because of administration techniques and taste and such.

Now, thanks to my attempts to use commonly available ecig parts to vape bho (excellent new on the go teks at icmag), I decided to try to make this work with DMT. google brought me to two threads on dmtnexus. They seemed very under appreciated and perhaps just not really caught on.

But I'm here to tell ya, and my credentials below should help you believe that I know what Im talking about..... This ecig thing, when done right (and I can help with that), is better than sliced bread. This changes everything. Really. Trust me.

thanks everyone. hi dg. when I get some time later today Ill run through my thoughts on this "new" ecig discovery. I say "new" 'cause rollingwood https://www.dmt-nexus.me...aspx?g=posts&t=34970 and lost traveler/perplexed/mdmm https://www.dmt-nexus.me....aspx?g=posts&t=8683 are probably hitting on one as we speak. But those threads need clarification and a cheerleader. Once people see how cheap and easy and most importantly - effective and efficient with your spice this is - its bound to be the way to do it.

and cyb, I haven't left the nook, but we are a pretty quiet hard to find place, and some things really need to be more out in the open, so I wanted to help with this. Plus, I'm planning to make dmt a bigger part of my adventures now that Ive found a more happy way to administer it.

I came here to vote you for promotion based on the recommendation of a Senior Member whom I deeply trust. Though my vote would have been low value, it made me LOL to discover you had already been promoted. So, presuming you read all the welcome stuff that came with that first pm, you know the culture and rules here and you and post anywhere. Again, congratulations. It is a very rare thing for someone at Nexus to get promoted this fast.

e-cig sounds interesting but have you ever heard of the Glass Vaporgenie pipe? It is the gold, go-to standard here at Nexus for vaping DMT and changa in a gorgeous manner that produces zero plastic smell and one hit breakthroughs. Also allows experienced GVG technique users (yes, there's a learning curve) to use a lot less DMT to achieve desired effects.

bho hash oil extraction has resulted in a number of explosions that changed people's lives forever or ended them outright. In my area a woman recently blew up her apartment, wound up with burns all over herself and her kid who happened to be in the kitchen at the time. She's recovering from her burns as she sits in jail awaiting trial date. She and everyone she knows cannot raise 10% on her $350,000 bail to get a bond. She's lost her kid, her place was burned out, her life has changed forever.

When someone else here had the nerve to tell Nexians (not you I'm sure) that making these pipe bombs in the home was safe and easy I referenced this news article and posted on how to do a very very safe extraction using acetone and mason jars.

Just saying . . . safety first always. And some risks just are not worth it.

Yes, Ive used a vaporgenie, and it sure does give a good hit. It gives a much better hit than any of the ecig techniques, but of course you need flame or a heat gun too. The ecig techniques are not necessarily a replacement for everything, but they could be. You can put the thing in your pocket, self contained, hand it to someone, they push a button and take one or more draws, hand it back or dtop it in their own lap or whatever. Not hot, not dangerous, not cumbersome, and not sketchy looking. No learning curve. There are over one hundred puffs in a filled cartridge and the first puff tastes like the last. You can pull it out, hit it sitting in a concert, if you have added flavoring the vapor doesnt really smell too suspicious. You can't get a full breakthrough with one hit with an ecig, at least not the setups I've used, but whenever ive done a one hit breakthrough, like with a machine or glass bulb, it is so irritating and nasty tasting that it takes away from the experience for me, so I welcome a more diluted but easily repeatable hit.

butane hash oil. well, any of my techniques and almost all of the techniques championed on icmag clearly state that you have to do this outside. Its just common sense too. I am very familiar with several explosions, and each and every one was done inside. That said, there is at least one bad fire from evapping bestine extracting dmt, but it was done in a foolish manner. Your point is well taken, but I don't really know what to say except that lots of things are dangerous in this world if you don't take appropriate precautions.
