Getting back into the groove of things. Got a few more in the works, but thought I'd share a couple wallpapers for now.

Took some old psychedelic doodles and whipped them up in Illustrator and Photoshop.

The inner soul is full of joy. Reveal my secrets and sew me whole. With each day, "I" heeds your call.
You may not care the slightest and may not be the brightest, but from here "I" sees you're mighty for you created it all.

And the jumbling sea rose above the wall.

Through this chaos comes the order you enthrall.

People like "Huang" should really be an inspiration to the rest.

It's just proof that people complaining about things like they can't sing,draw,paint...etc. don't really want to do any of those things, If they did they would be doing it non-stop.That is how you develop skill, not by complaining about how bad you are at something.

Nice, Cyb. Is the center element something you made with Alchemy or Painter?

You are really making this style your own, and your work is more polished every day.

You're an effin wizard, Cyb!

Huang Guofo is truly inspiring. He gives me the same feeling as folks I see on the ski slope with no legs. I always think, "Hell yeah! That's the way to be." When I see folks like him. Not only is he working with his feet, but his art puts mine to shame. So awesome.

Thanks Art
If you mean the goat head..That was just picked off the net and treated heavily, Horns are groboto, some fractal work with a 'secret' app and the rest in Pshop.
Just got an Intuos4 through the post and wanted to test drive it...v tricky to get used to.

Improving...yes but one look over at CGSociety and Shadowness and I feel like a 2 year old finger painter..Very happy

(Have you thought of using Poser for your models? It's very malleable..)

Yeah mr P, your style is quickly resolving into something really cool and original. Keep em coming!

Art, really digging your Kali treatment- she's always been one of my faves and you're definitely doing her justice. The set of four figures will be epic.

Jah- I like your flower of life mandala... Nice rhythm and color choices. Looks like you may be struggling a bit with the smoothness and saturation though. Two most likely reasons: paper doesn't have enough tooth to pick up the pencil adequately, or pencils are too hard. I know they are expensive, but Prismacolor pencils make a world of difference and are far more enjoyable to work with.

VIII- love it, got any more?

Thanks folks!

cyb,
I really mean it. It really looks like you're on to something good. The quality of your work just keeps getting better and better.

I think I might have screwed that last one up. I realized it did need some color, so I gave it a try. I'll post it up and let you guys decide. Razz All part of the process, I suppose!

Oh, and Jah,
Guyomech said exactly what I was thinking. I like your color choice and the composition. Those prismacolors are pretty great. Even if you can only afford the smallest cheapest pack (like me) they work so well.

It might sound sensible to start with cheap pencils, but the reality is that it will slow things down and make the whole process seem trickier than it really is. If you need to be frugal, I suggest starting with smaller drawings.

Well here is the latest version. It was touch and go for a while, but I think it turned out ok. I did a layer of ink color, and then worked in colored pencil.
