I love the movie Waking Life! Just throwing that out there Big grin

I had an Out of Body experience about 10 years ago. I didn't know what was happening. I heard a very loud woosh-whoosh whooshing noise and then realized I could not move my hand yet it felt like my hand was waving around. I couldn't feel the sensation of breathing which really freaked me out. I was laying next to my boyfriend (husband now) and I was trying to tap him on the shoulder but I was looking down at myself and I just looked like I was sleeping and this noise got louder and louder until I finally jumped up out of it. I was really sore for that entire day. I became infatuated with the experience and wanted to know what the heck had just happened to me, I was terrified but had such a crazy curiosity. It has happened several times now, I am able to be a little more comfortable. The second time it happened was really odd. I had fallen asleep while my husband was playing a video game. I had woken up to him asking if I wanted to have a cigarette (nasty habit) I used to smoke back then so I said yea wait for me... he walked away like he didn't hear me. Then I felt that sensation of the whooshing in my ear. I remember looking at his score on the video game, I was paralyzed. He came back into the room and shut the TV off, I focused on trying to get myself back into my body- once again I abruptly came back and jumped up and was so terrified, I told him I could see him and he said I was just laying there sleeping and I hadn't made a peep. When I told him who he was playing on Madden and what the score was, he knew that something weird had occurred. I got books and joined forums to help me learn how to make these experiences happen, it seems like when it accidentally happens is when it is most intense and mystical.

Another chemical free experience I had that I found to be incredibly intense was SkyDiving. I highly recommend trying it- wow- it's a rush! Only ever jumped chem. free- but I am going again soon- not sure I could handle it even being high- no pun intended... Confused
