My path here has been long. I lived through the mid-90's wave of experimentation. I was aware of the possibilities and local experiments with acacia but found it too hard to guarantee accuracy of identification and loathed the thought of ring-barking anything. I gravitated towards some experiments with acid but eventually realities of age and custom, time and place had me more focused on changing nappies and Bob the Builder rather than acuminata or floribundas.

Now my life has moved into another cycle and I'm in a place where I can explore more confidently and with a sustainable approach and philosophy. That realisation is extremely exciting and seductive.

I wasn't sure from your essay if you had actually tried DMT or not. The wave of the 90's was the initial big RC wave, the end of easy acid and strong desire to DMT but lots of failed extraction attempts if I remember correctly. . . . then you mentioned changes in your life, such as nappy changing duty that change one's life completely, .
