Have a Roland MDX 20 3d Scanner and Printer. Have a good computer on hand if you decide to buy one high resolution scans/cuts can take a full 24 hours and that's for a small one 1X2 inches at a resolution of .002".

You can create anything you can imagine. This technology has made some outright mindblowing advances in the last 5 years and it is looking to rapidly advance.
3D modeling and fabrication isnt cheap I paid 5k for the printer and about 7k for the casting equipment but just screwing around making stuff and selling it on ebay has paid for the equipment already and then some.
