how are the laws different in cali? is it a major no-no to grow?

California is one of the few states where buying/selling/possessing mushroom spores (of a psychoactive strain) is illegal. Someone correct me if I'm incorrect here, although I'm fairly certain this is accurate.

Kind of ironic, don't you think? The one state in the U.S. that has nearly legalized ganjha for the masses oppresses the likes of humble mycologists such as myself by prohibiting mere spores

Well SWIM's back..with some updates. First flush on 1 of the 2 cakes produced around 75 grams wets, so around 7.5 grams dry! Regardless of the yield, SWIM's happy.

And by the way, this is the Lipa Yai strain

And heres the second cake that already had a first flush, and was already dunk'd n rolled, and this cake has probably only been 2 days after being dunked and put back in the chamber. Still got awhile to go on this cake

is that bruising or is it mold?

Based on what i've posted throughout different forums, its def. bruising. It comes and goes with the moisture content. When i dunk them they bruise that dark blue color quite a bit. I've tested the blue with the q tip method and everything seems to be fine.

SWIM and a friend has split 2.5 g each the other night of the dried product and they were something else!

My unicorn grew these outside during a hurricane last year.

This was just 2 flushes off the same casing.

I wanna say they are B+, but seeing as how the unicorn doesnt have thumbs, it couldnt write the strain on the jars.

Well SWIM is happy to report that him and his friend each took a little over 2 g. of his new batch of Lipa Yai's last night.
All he can say is WOWWWWWW. SWIM and his friend had made a fire last night (SWIM lives out) and just sat under the moon and stars. Definitely a night to remember.

Ended up taking them around 9:15pm, then honeslty no later than 9:30 the body buzz for SWIM and his friend started to come on strong. Everything came alive...the trees were literally dancing back and forth...the grass looked like a fluid ocean of green...and it felt like SWIM became part of the fire.

And the craziest thing of all was when SWIM would close his eyes, SWIMs body would seem to just disperse into nature and it felt as if SWIM was just a mind! But it was soo peaceful and soo beautiful! The euphoria seemed to be nonstop...the smiles did not cease the entire night.

And the close eye visuals...SWIM wishes he could describe them! They really remind him of the beginning of the DMT closed eye visuals to be honest.

All in all, an INCREDIBLE night!

My unicorn, brandon st. randy, just finished his automated greenhouse yesterday and is waiting for his jars to get done. Hes not doing them outside this year first of all because of how bad people are these days, and also because temps over here in Jesus Land dont stay very stable making the shrooms smaller than they could have been.

He started the jars around 17th of feb, and has only lost one jar to contaminants out of 23, he still has 2 more strains to do and is inoculating 7 more jars sometime in the next few days.

So far the Argentinians have been slow goings due to temp, malibars LOVE the conditions and have taken off, mexican albinos are doing good and the B+ are fine as usual. He says waiting for jars to finish is the lamest part of mycology.

The Porto Rica's and Golden Teachers are two strains hes very excited to be studying this year. Hes been bugging my dragon about it all winter.
