I have a question for you sherlockers! only thing is I haven't yet done my extraction yet so i've only got to try out maryjane in my bat. The sherlock is way too big for me and the bat was nearly half the price.

2) Completely fill the bowl with shredded smoking blend, but do not pack tightly. Completely filling the bowl is necessary because with a partially-filled bowl, hot air can flow around your smoking blend instead of through it. For proper vaporization, hot air must flow through your smoking blend."
well,the container is too big to fill a small bowl of maryjane into. it works fine at first, but doesn't work fine near the end of the bud... there's still some green but I can barely get it and I am very adamant on smoking every piece of green until its totally vaporized.

questions:
1) do the instructions that came with it also say that you should fill the container a good amount like my instructions did?
2) when you smoke dmt in your sherlock, does it fill up much of the container part where you put your substance?
3) if you've smoked mj in it, do you have the same problem I do?

I love my bat, it's so light, small, and cheap. I just hope I don't need to return it for a sherlock... which I might not be able to do. By the way, people said thee bat is alright because it gets really hot because it's so small. the tip does get hot to vape out of, but all you need to do is moving the tip of the piece farther in past the outside of your lip (like people normally do) so that the tip rest on the inside of your lip. This is because the temperature of your mouth body is much hotter than the outside temperature of lips, which allows it to handle the hotter temps from the tip no problem at all.

The Sherlock manual actually says to NOT fill the chamber, that it needs to remain unpacked so airflow can circulate.

I don't know about the MJ in the GVG. Drugs are bad, mmmmmk?

I said this in another thread last week. Maybe I'll start a thread promoting them Get some of these gauzes:



Basil Bush Conical Gauzes. They hold your herb right under the heating element, and you can get most of it in one hit. You do need to stir it a bit between hits, but with this set up, the GVG is the only thing I use for Weed* or Changa. You need to use a scrubber for freebase DMT / harmalas though.

*top tip, save your vaporised weed, and when you have ~1.5-2gs make some hot chocolate by boiling it in milk and adding cocoa, honey, cinnamon, ginger & nutmeg. Makes for an extremely pleasant Sunday afternoon

yeah I didn't think the chamber would be filled, but there could also be a difference in chamber sizes between the sherlock and the bat. the length and diameter of my bat's chamber is around 0.6 to 0.7 inches for both.

How much freebase would it take to fill the chamber anyway....DAAAAAAAAAAAMN!
