Just out of curiosity, I noticed Robbotussin is an MOAI, would that be an easy way to ingest the brew?Sick
I'm sorry but I don't want to be an Emperor - that's not my business - I don't want to rule or conquer anyone. I should like to help everyone if possible, Jew, gentile, black man, white. We all want to help one another, human beings are like that.We all want to live by each other's happiness, not by each other's misery. We don't want to hate and despise one another. In this world there is room for everyone and the earth is rich and can provide for everyone. The way of life can be free and beautiful. But we have lost the way.Greed has poisoned men's souls - has barricaded the world with hate; has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed. We have developed speed but we have shut ourselves in: machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. Our knowledge has made us cynical, our cleverness hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little..

According to Wikipedia Robitussin comes in three forms: Robitussin, Robitussin DM which adds DXM and Robitussin CF and contains also a nasal decongestant. None of these seem to be MAOIs, as the regular Robitussin contains Guaifenesin, the DM version contains Guaifenesin and DXM and I can't seem to find the CF ingredients.

DXM is a deliriant as an NMDA receptor antagonist and an SSRI(selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor). An SSRI is NOT a MAOI, they're two different mechanisms of action. An SSRI functions by preventing serotonin from being removed from the blood by inhibiting the serotonin transporters. MAOIs and RIMAs function by blocking the action of MAO enzymes which degrade serotonin. You can't take an SSRI and expect the action of a MAOI.

Drink an entire bottle of Robitussin will cause a hefty trip. You're better off drinking a cup of Syrian Rue tea than drinking a bottle of DXM contain coughing syrup. Taking DXM in combination with a MAOI could kill you (source).
