Hello everyone, you can call me TTM for short. I hope all of you are doing well. I guess this is the part where I describe a bit about who I am and why I am here. I'm 20 years of age and live a simple life. I tend to listen to every genre of music from Pink Floyd, Ray Lamontagne, DMX, and everything in between. These past couple years of my life have been quite enlightening and learning experience to say the least. Since I was fifteen I would smoke bud everyday like it was my job. Then when the new year started (2011) I had fallen into the wrong crowd and developed a nasty cocaine addiction. I spent every last dollar I earned on it and I'm still to this day ashamed of it.

Luckily though I had a falling out with this group of friends and with the support of my girlfriend of five years I've worked through it and have been clean for eleven months I haven't even toked. During this stretch of my life to where I'm at today time (Pre 2012) I've taken psilocybin six times and each have been wonderful experiences from walking around outside watching the rocks form in large stepping stones, uncontrollable laughter, the words of jesus and buddah running through my head, visuals of eyes, and a friendship ended shortly after one. Each and every time I'd partake in these experiences I would always digest an 8th.

When thinking back to those experiences I've always wanted something more. It was by fate that I'm even here right now. My JR year in highschool my physcology was talking about his trip overseas to India and a student brought up DMT. I remember thinking "wow that sounds like something that everyone should experience at least one." Fast forward now to the summer of graduation. My girlfriend and I decided to go to the mall. While we were walking through Barns and Nobel I was browsing the new age section and I saw Rick Strassman's DMT The Spiritual Molecule and thats when I became so fascinated with it. Reading his case notes were shocking to say the least and mind blowing that these experiences are similar to NDES and Alien Abductions. Now i just want to learn everything that I can.

Thank you to all of those who took the time to actually read through this life story. I have so many questions that unfortunately aren't meant for a intro thread. I have a very strong drive to learn all I can. Also I apologize for all grammar errors. The sloth in me had gotten the best. Thanks again for reading and take care.

(If any of this is unacceptable please have a mod remove this. I read the FAQ and the standard PM that noobs are issued and did not see this post as breaking the rules. I just wanted to give everyone a grasp about who I am like it suggested.)

Welcome
everything you need to know is in the wiki and health and safty.
I fully understand your need to know to find an understanding of what you have read so far.
The spirit molecule is something that called to me because of alot of pain i had in my heart due to a lack of
understanding of how this world and the people were and the one's we have lost along the way.

If your in the US it has become much tougher to reach your goal. If not you may be in luck.
As far as the things you have read? word's will never do it justice we just cannot bring what seem's to happen
back with us in voice or writings but the change that happen's is very real.

I liked your intro many if not all have went down paths we wish we never had.
The fact that you have seen it, is in itself a very great step.
I wish you great luck in your journey and speed to find the things you need.

Learn everything you can, do your research, and check your finding's
Should you get your chance? you will never be able to unlearn what it will show you!
THE TIME"S THEY ARE A CHANGING!!

Welcome (to the Nexus) Tothemachine:

Very happy. Congratulations on kicking your addiction and staying clean. Many of us have come from similar backgrounds and can understand how difficult this can be.

oden gave you some wonderful guidance, including to check those links he mentioned - they are found in both your welcoming email and in the links in the upper right hand corner of the forum pages.

Please keep us posted on your journeys and again welcome to the Nexus.

Welcome to the Nexus TTMThumbs up

Like Pandora said, a lot of us have had unhealthy relationships with substances, myself included. Congratulations on kicking your habit! The decision to leave the negativity of your old group of friends was a wise one.

The DMT experience has been such a game changer in my life. Hopefully you will get the opportunity to experience it some day, because even though you've read about it, it is definetly something that has to be experienced to fully appreciate.

Good luck on your journey.

I am completely convinced that there is a wealth of information built into us, with miles of intuitive knowledge tucked away in the genetic material of every one of our cells. Something akin to a library containing uncountable reference volumes, but without any obvious route of entry. And, without some means of access, there is no way to even begin to guess at the extent and quality of what is there. The psychedelic drugs allow exploration of this interior world, and insights into its nature. - Shulgin
