Joined a few days ago and have been reading all that I can. I found this by way of the recent publicity this molecule has been getting. Or as I should say, it found me. Everything I've read sounds fascinating and I keep venturing into research mode periodically throughout the day. I have a history of doing psychedelics in college and enjoyed them immensely. Never a bad tip and never freaked out, despite some heavy doses. LSD, X and shrooms separately and always with good ol MJ in the background. After reading a bit looks like I missed out on some great experiences if I did some combinations of the above. Candy flip looks like it would have been a good homework exercise.

Anyway it's about two decades post college and I am ready to explore again. Going to try my hand at some Salvia while I figure out my next move on the readiness quest for DMT - challenges with location regarding procurement and preparation are an issue but I am gaining knowledge with each post read. Excited, REALLY excited, but at the same time not in any great rush. Want to make some stops at San Pedro and such along the way. It's a journey for sure.

Thanks for the great site. It's an invaluable tool.

All the best in your quest!

In conflict I walk away. In detachment I am free. In respecting all living things I respect myself. In dedication I honour the courage within me.
In eternity I have compassion for the nature of all things. In love I unconditionally accept the evolution of others. In freedom I have power.
In my individuality I express the God-Force within me. In service I give of what I have become.

Hello ThinkingBeing,

Welcome to the Nexus. Very happy. Great to have another person who graduated college decades ago here. Seems like there's more and more of us all the time.

I enjoyed reading your introductory essay very much. Sounds like your life may once again be opening up into a wonderful adventure.

Salvia, though very surprising and unique due to the dissociative/psychedelic effect, is in my opinion, a good introduction to what DMT might have to offer. I only say that because it can offer a "breakthrough," a 3D, immersive/believable experience.

Though you are limited in where you can post as a new member, just log on and you can see the entire contents of all the forums. This includes a rather rich cactii forum. Also, the wiki link in the upper right hand corner of your Forum pages will show you extraction teks, including for cactus.

Again, a very warm welcome to you.
"But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment. The present moment, ultimately, is more than enough, a gift of grace and unfathomable value, which our friend and lover death paints in stark relief."

Thank you very much for the warm welcome and the tips. I'm very excited about the Salvia and will write a trip report after the first experience. Happy some things are still legal.

Strong possibility of doing my first DMT extraction using A Con. Couple beginner level teks out there that seem to have been tested against the main ingredient.

After spending some time in an abusive relationship with Tina I'm happy to find some really intense short acting alternatives on the pyschonaut front. Not trying to compare apples to oranges except in duration and lack of sleep. San Pedro looks like more of a schedule clearer than the others aforementioned. But something intriguing about the chemical.

Hoping to find some fun things to experience during the coming winter hibernation Wink
