Hey guys,

SWIM seems to be having trouble with his freeze precip. Even leaving over night in the freezer forms nothing. The liquid clear , but when you blow on it white whisps swirl in the naptha. Is that the dmt that hasn't precipitated out?He has extracted successfully before with the same batch and same materials so is a bit baffled by this.

I just read on similar post that it might be because of too much naptha?
Is that a possibility? Will too much naptha prevent crystals forming.

He uses 3l h2o, 200g of caustic soda and 200g of mhrb and 300ml of naptha. (10% of the water volume)...although there might be slightly more naptha as there was 15% extra free in the tin.

Any help/suggestions would be greatfully received.

Thanks

I would suggest you do a partial evaporation with your naptha before putting it in the freezer. This will cause it to become saturated with dmt and freeze precipitate better.
