Has anyone ever heard of DMT giving a false positive for anything on a drug test?
Or a drug test that tested for DMT?
I recently posted this on another site but only got a few responses & thought this would be a better place to reassure myself I wont be wasting $15,000 & going back to jal.
I assume I would be fine
But the more answers I get the safer I feel.

No worries, DMT metabolizes very quickly, it doesn't hang around in your body for ages like THC. And even if it did, they couldn't test people for it since traces of it exist naturally in our bodies anyway. That's a test that nobody in the world could pass.

That's my understanding as well. From everything I have read, weed is really the only thing that drug tests really get. Almost everything is out of the body within days. This is even true for users for months or years. Pretty much everything but weed is either gone quickly or not testable. Weed, on the other hand, builds up with regular use. Regular users may take as much as a month to test clean.

Every time I have smoked it in the last year (about 6 times) I used an at home test which has the same standards as most urine tests. Every time I smoked, I was clean in 3 or less days. One time my bud got some killer bud (ha!) and that was the highest I'd been since high (ha! again) school. It only took an extra day to be clean.

Moral of the story:
-My results pertain to me, others may be similar, but others are different.
-Even weed for some (maybe most) if used moderately has a low chance of getting you a failure if used wisely.
-Almost no, if not completely no psychedelics are commonly tested for (lsd, psilocybin, DMT, etc.) so they are a pretty safe bet.

I recently met somone who I know could & would get me DMT but my only way to contact him is through someone else who I am fairly sure is afraid of DMT & doesn't seem to want to ask him about getting any even though they are neighbors & the police took all my money so I cant produce any myself quite yet

Still have yet to ever try DMT but I reallllly want to right now.

Well don't worry. And don't stress it! I have about 2 full grams worth of changa I am sitting on, and haven't done a thing with for weeks. It just hasn't been the right time. When I am wanting to do it, but I know it's not right, I just tell myself that it will always be there. Hyperspace isn't going anywhere! It's everywhere, and nowhere.

Ditto! Same amount and everything. I've never had any enhanced with caapi before, been waiting to try it for nearly a month! But hopefully soon I can break my dmt-fast, the stars seem to be aligning.

Shroomo, if the cops have taken an interest in you recently, it would probably be best to lay low and not do anything questionable for awhile, drug test or no. If nothing else, worries about the situation could easily make any psychedelic ventures unpleasant. I'd take it as a sign that it's a good time to take a break, and play model citizen until you're off their radar.

That's good advice, Crazyhorse! I hadn't considered that. Last time I had some it wasn't a good time. The DMT showed me why it wasn't, and that's why I've waited. It is definitely best to avoid psychedelics if there's pressing things in ones life, such as responsibilities or the fuzz.

I agree for sure. You seem to have the idea that DMT is going to be some kind of release from your problems. Like you expect to just forget all about your legal issues for awhile and escape from sobriety to go play with the aliens, is that about right? If so, I think you may be in for a very rude awakening...

I have felt like DMT was one of very few things missing from my life since long before the legal issues
there's just something about a good trip thats brings me inner peace
im not talking about replacing every bowl of weed with dmt
I just am at that point where I feel I could greatly benefit off a trip through existance. Its been a while.
