Before i start talking about myself I just want to thank the creators of this site and everyone involved for spreading this info. Although this is my first post, i have been researching on this site for a looong time. I have learned so much from reading the posts here.

I am a 24 year old from a suburban town in Pennsylvania. I have an apartment with a close friend of mine and work in retail while studying at the university of phoenix.

I have been interested in psychedelics for a few years now. When I was 20 I fell in love with mushrooms and learned so much from them. They also drastically changed my interests. In the past few years ive started practicing meditation, paying attention to my diet and dropped a few bad habits. I still have a long way to go but psychs definitely helped me to start the journey.

Hopefully I can add something to the community with my posts. I haven't reached mckenna status yet but I am somewhat experienced with a wide variety of psychedelics.

Hello JohnnyLovesCactus,

Welcome to the Nexus. Thank you for taking the time to write an introductory essay.

Though as a new member you are limited to posting in only a few areas, once you log on you can view all the forums including the rather indepth one on cactus. Very happy

Please take a good look around. There's an incredible amount of information here. The invaluable links in your welcome email are also in the upper right hand corner of the forum pages. Great stuff there, including wiki, with extraction teks.

I'd say the best way to add to this community is just by being honest, being yourself and by posting. This should get you promoted after a little while too.

Again, a warm welcome to you.
"But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment. The present moment, ultimately, is more than enough, a gift of grace and unfathomable value, which our friend and lover death paints in stark relief."
