Dear Nexus community. For the last three years I was exposed to Shamanic Peruvian ceremonies, Santo Daime ceremonies and my own brewing efforts as well. I now hope to bring some questions to the people here who know. I am interested in what 'healing admixtures' are safe to add to a brew (a brew of acacia confusa + syrian rue) admixtures like these for example:
- Is it possible to add
'Piri Piri' to this brew (this has healing effects but also highly desirable for its anti-emetic effects)?
- Is it safe to add
'Sangre De Grado' to the mix? - how much?
- Is it safe to add
'Huacapu bark' to the brew?
Any advice would be GREAT
Also on the finer details of brewing that I can't find good answers for:
1) Exactly what temperature range is good for not destroying the DMT whilst brewing, as the word 'simmering' or 'rolling boil' isn't that accurate, we have temperature gauges and digital stoves these days...
2) After brewing in a low PH (acidic) water - does adding baking soda to the brew at the end to alkalize the PH affect the DMT or not? and does the remnants of the soda cause any unnecessary nausea.
3) Exactly how 'fine' of a filter can you use in straining the brew, is the DMT only present in the water fluid or is some still sticking on the fine grains of bark left even after straining with a fabric...?
4) And finally can anyone comment about the differences between using a Harmine 95% Extract VS using the Syrian Rue seeds boiled whole in a brew. I found the Harmine 95% extract extremely spiky, it blocked MAO well but the experience was not as smooth as with whole boiled seeds
- Thus what is the role of the other alkaloids (Harmaline, Harmane and Tetrahydroharmine in the mix in terms of synergy and in their roles to stabilize the DMT experience? any links or advice?
