Hi everyone!

Introductions first. I'm from Mexico City and this is my first post here, although I have been reading you guys for a while.

I just started reading about DMT relatively recently and would like to ask you some questions.

I'll digress a little on purpose, please bear with me.

Right now I must say I'm in love with LSD. I find it to be a great tool to access remote places inside of the mind. Admittedly it can be incredibly fun too, recreationally speaking. I have had curious visions of living walls (not my physical walls, but entities that somehow resemble walls), trees, seeds and even what I believe to be my guardian angel. Entities have even asked me questions. I also have gone through some truly bizarre experiences but, as Michael Ende said: "That is another story and shall be told another time".

What I would really want to know is if DMT's visions are somewhat connected, or even similar, to those I had with LSD. Unfortunately I have never "crossed over" to hyperspace with LSD but those things I've seen looked damn real, and the feelings that came along with them felt very real as well.

I'm a big fan of meditation and the locks inside the mind. Would you think that DMT is a good choice to explore them deeper or the experiences are just to bizarre, confusing and impossible to remember to be useful?

Sorry for the long post. I hate long posts myself Smile

P.S. I love that the SWIM talk can be dropped here.

Perfect for meditation, it is how I go to church.
Meditate before you venture, take it seriously, use it as medicinalโ€”it is good psychotherapy if needed. Realize that you, the Earth, others, and the Universe are all one and the same process. Then take that knowledge back to become, as you already are, one with nature. Eternity in every moment. Divinity in every particle. All is one organism.

I've never gotten as far out on LSD as you have, so I can't comment on exactly how much your visions would be like DMT visions. From your descriptions, it sounds more like a DMT experience than an LSD experience. From my experiences, the aesthetic of the two experiences are slightly different. DMT tends to be more detailed, less symmetrical, more high quality and vibrant. The building blocks that make up the visions are a bit different.

DMT can have the tendency to create vivid scenes where things are going on and very specific items/objects/entities there. It sounds like LSD has done something similar for you, but since that is not congruent with my experience, as I mentioned before, I'd have a hard time commenting on just how similar those experiences are. It does sound like it should be up your alley though. DMT visuals do less of "resembling" something like some kind of weak, "oh, it kind of looks like a lion" whereas with DMT, it's like there's no mistaking it for anything other than what it's supposed to be. There's a crystallized lion staring you in the face and roaring.

Mathematician compares DMT experience with LSD experience.

DMT has definitely helped me, it can be harder to integrate but no doubt still worth it.

The way a friend of mine put it when I initially started asking about DMT..."No.. you don't understand me, the room doesn't change, the room disappears, like, THE ROOM IS GONE"
One can drive himself to madness in the obsessing goal of reason, without the knowledge of love and laughter.

points given for the Ende quote Very happy

The visuals in a breakthrough are a very different style to that of lsd, you can be 100% in another place, wich is difficult on acid except in verrrry high doses

For what its worth i prefer those of acid, but each have their own beauty. pools of it. oceans!

peace!

Thanks a lot for your answers!

Yeah, I do want to take this seriously. To be honest the first time I took LSD it was out of sheer curiosity and wanted to have a blast out of it. However that attitude changed gradually as I started to go deeper into the rabbit's hole and I got slight peeks of a different world.

Actually I agree with several comments that state that, in order to fully "deserve" the experience one must extract the DMT. I just got my mimosa and naphtha today. I just need to get the NaOH tomorrow and I'll try an extraction (I'll be using Lazyman's tek, any comments on this one?).

What Global said made a lot of sense to me. With LSD you can get pretty vivid experiences, visuals and entities. But they always "whisper" the information into your head. I understand that DMT launches you into their realm, wherever that is, and whatever they want to say or want you to feel is as clear as it gets. I'm aiming for that.

I love the way this guys puts it! He talks about DMT opening "Window number two". And that the window remains open for DMT and LSD future experiences.

If everything goes well I should be able to have my first DMT experience in one or two days. I'll meditate and do this as respectfully as possible and will be back to share the experience. I'm hoping that my comparison of great LSD visions and DMT's will prove to be useful to someone else in the future.

Thanks again everyone! Smile

Just as a note, most of the DMT entities I encounter communicate using strong telepathy. Whatever medium it is that I typically use to converse with myself (my voice in my head), these entities usually like to "take command of that P.A." as it were, and communicate using my thoughts (my thought-voice system). Sometimes it's in an indecipherable rhythmic alien language, sometimes it's in English but it's gibberish (English words put together incorrectly with no apparent context), sometimes it's in English and it's a real sentence that could make sense in an appropriate context, but none is to be found, and more rarely it's in English, and it actually makes sense.

Two of the entities (or perhaps classes of entities) that I encounter, have been communicating with me in a categorically different mode than the telepathy described above. These entities are the godhead/God(?) and an elf who I've met recently and has been showing up more and more. Both of these entities use grammatically perfect English in a context-appropriate manner. More important, it is perceived that they are using sound but not telepathy for communication, and so they undergo the formality of actually being heard. This effect is so strong that when the elf is on one of my flanks or the other, that the sound seems to go more in that ear than the other like how real sound would behave.

On two separate occasions this elf (which for me is very rare. After two years of journeying, I was beginning to think I would never see or hear from them) has used his exquisitely clear form of communication to narrate (almost alla tour guide) what was going on in the experience. As a scene would fly by, he would accurately describe it and inform me what was going on. I find this to be incredibly significant in regards to determining the authentic intelligence behind some of these entities because as I am completely incapable of knowing what's going on, much less describe it as it flies by at high speeds, it strikes me as significant that he does know what's going on and can tell me about it. It seems rather clear that it isn't a synthesis of memories or some haphazard linguistic firing in the brain from overload or something of the like. Anyway, didn't mean to derail the thread, but thought you might be curious to know because you talk of entity communication on LSD.

Hello and welcome.

Please make sure you follow all the safety instructions while extracting. Also if I may suggest start with lower doses and work your way up. Maybe 10-15mg to start with.

Also you need 0.001g scale and good vaporiser. Read about smoking techniques.

Good luck
