food and diet does not play much of a role in my experience in not having a headache..
Harmalas can definatly cause headaches the next day for me and others I have spoken with, esp when you take large doses and are up late at night. The next day can be somewhat exhuasting as well from lack of sleep. Harmalas also feel dehydrating for me..so drink lots of water.
The best thing to do I find is to just chill out and lay around and read or something..I dont think it is dangerous. This happens more often the higher you dose in my experience and the headaches feel like tension headaches..and its usually fine when I am laying down reading or something..maybe it's a change in seratonin levels? Tension headaches can also manifest hours after the origional incidence that caused them..
I have tried eliminating all kinds of foods etc and I have not found any correlation..unless you are consuming other psychoactive substances.
Even after you think it has ended, it often is not done with you. I have had vine last for 24 hours before thinking it was over a couple times only to get another wave hit..I have even fallen asleap and woken up the next morning to tracers and vomiting.
This is always with larger doses however.
I just eat some willow bark and chill if I get a headache after. Wont kill ya.
I have also found that some vine does this to me far more than other vines..no idea why that is.
I spent a good deal of time working with ayahuasca 2 times a week or so..for about a year and I began to realize that dosing realy high on harmalas has some downsides..that is more of a special occasion thing now..I love harmalas so much but I tend to keep my doses just high enough to activate the DMT..I still get harmalas effects alone at that dose but it's not the full on kind of harmalas trip that a large dose can produce.
I also like to eat meat to ground though afterwords these days..some people would think that is horrible after ayahuasca so...
Long live the unwoke.
